Stalingrad bot to human ratio?

What does everyone think this will look like? The campaign is clearly going to appeal much less to F2P who already have 4 campaigns to play which will undoubtedly lower the player count but to what extent I dont really know.

This that main thing stopping me from buying in is that regardless of what faction/weapons/tanks are there is that it very well may turn into another bot fest if enough are against paying or those that do quickly leave.

What swayed some of you one way or the other with this new monetization style?

A lot of bots, like more than Tunisia in 2 weeks after release

Nah. Not that bad.

For me it’s the fact it’s undoubtedly cheaper than the 4 microtransactions heavy “old” campaigns. A single fee for a complete campaign that removes painful grind and gives everything upgraded, thus focusing on gameplay.

I also always loved Stalingrad setting, and the equipment looks great.

for some reason keofox seems very confident when it comes to player numbers
so that could mean one of 2 things

  1. he is just acting like there is alot of players as to not discourage us (aka: propeganda)

  2. there is actually enough players we just dont realise it because the average player is about as bad as a bot

I want to see all that confidence of paid users once it rolls out.
Then we will see who was right.

Just remember to not be mad, just as You don’t let users who don’t buy it be mad. (i’m not mad, stop projecting from the futute)

Yes I agree this is awesome. However I’m in it for gameplay value and playing with or against lots of bots definitely lowers the quality. I do hope keofox isnt lying about the amount of possible players

The price. I don’t think with a battlepass and premium account, I would even have to pay almost half the price of an AAA game for a campaign. Even if it comes with a premium squad (which I think will push the boundaries of uselessness). If they ask for max 10-15 euros just for the campaign, I will say okay. Even if I know it will be max 2 weeks and there will be very big problems with the number of players. Although I wouldn’t understand what’s needed. Most f2p games work with battlepass / premium account / premium squad / skin sales. The war thunder too. If enlisted isn’t, it’s not the model’s fault that is likely in the game. And that should change.

You know he’s lying. He also knows there will be trouble with the player base. Everyone knows who plays enough with the game. Or are so many topics about the problem a joke? But it’s not his fault. He is an employee. He says what is expected of him. He needs to tell you that everything is fine, even if the house is on fire.

It’s true, same for me. I noticed however that:

Even in Tunisia, when I make my lil Italian team succeed in a match, I notice that half the enemy disconnect from the match… they were human. Just… really bad. I think we forum users here are a bit more invested in the game, and perhaps for that reason we tend to believe we only play vs bots because we always end up 1st with hundreds of kills. But the sad truth is that… We are the exception…

Oh yes humans can and often are worse than bots but do I want to pay for even more low quality gameplay when I can already have enough bad teams for free? Maybe the game play will actually improve with it only being paid players which would actually get me to buy it. I really dont know and will wait to see though

not sure, can be a desert i dont even care lol. i m not the type of player that keeps complaining about teamates or lack of it. if i loose i loose, or i quit and move on to another batle. if its bot teams on my side or against, its prety much what the game currently is everywhere. bad players or bot squads.

imo, more players after actually trying the maps and modes inside ill buy the pack.
imo, it does have everything to be the most populated faction right from the start BUT, 4x fast grind will ofc make players leave it after 1 or 2 weeks to grind other campaigns.

i, for sure, will use mkb’s and ppsh’s on custom matches even if i m not playing stalingrad direcly on normal queue.

if it sucks, i dont care. 30 bucks is money i can live without.

Given how fast progression will be for people who purchased it (let´s be honest, only people who purchased it are going to play it, unless there are some demo loving masochists out there) and mindset this playerbase have (aka playing for the sake of grinding), it is not going to take long probably. I would expect “pls gib more Stalingrad content or I quit” threads after 2 weeks.

But who knows, I might as well be wrong… on both things.

this will happen for sure, and ofc, the fast level ability will make all of us move to another campaign fast. new maps, modes or feautures will be neat, but i ill grind other campaigns after fast stalingrad compleation.

First weeks could be difficult for F2P. All this payed customers want their AVT/MKB in the shortest possible time, so all these monster players will come here spend their 500+orders, and it will hurt… However, with 8x experience it want take them too long . I hope later it should be better and Stalingrad will be fun to play as, it looks as more balanced campaign than moscow (no drum/ROF advantage for russians)

Bleh, if it was assaulters, sure… but for riflemen? My riflemen will rock mannlichers till the end! And my axis assaulters the very nice looking Danuvia m39. As for Soviets, I’ll probably just build Maxims everywhere, too many to bother using AVT. Maxim is my dream coming true…

I have personally squadded up with players who barely get 20kills, but to be honest so long as they have fun I don’t care.

But wouldn’t it be a hell of a dream if you can move the maxim with its wheels ?

I remember when they were putting XP restrictions for custom games and talking about player averages and it was something like the average minimum a player gets is around 10-15 kills throughout a match, and it really opened my eyes.

So I dont think keofox is lying, I think we really just underestimate how bad people are at the end of the day.
