I just switched from stalingrad allies to axis and we are getting crushed each game so hard. The best thing is if there is a KV1. He can sit right between us and no matter if we throw 1000 explosion packs or dynamite at him, he is not going down.
But in general it seems in axis teams are at the moment only low campaign players.
I will defenetly not touch axis stalingrad when I want to reach “General of the Army” rank next season.

Nothing is as bad as Moscow. In Stalingrad, weaponry is surprisingly well balanced (well it’s almost mirrored). Kv1 sure… but it’s not invincible.

Equipment can be balanced how you want, but, withaut player wo use it is usless, the only axis player you find in stalingrad are rare team of 4 people

Is Berlin Axis actually enjoyable? Last time i started my first few rounds in Berlin it was total Soviet dominance.

Im CEST, ye last time i experienced in an unusual amount of matches explosive spam which topped the already bad teams i got, and when just starting with low lvl equip it wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Had played some Stalingrad post update and I still don’t play this campaign much due to the lack of map variety with no winter maps or recognizable landmarks outside the Univermag, Station, Theater triangle.
I dunno, right now it seems to be about 50/50 for me. Either I get a good team and we have a good shot or, occasionally, the team I get just kind of pisses around doing I-don’t-know-what.
The KV1 is a freakin’ monster though, you sure have to focus them down with a lot of ordinance but, that’s what I like about the AT squad.
Hey, I like playing Moscow, Axis. It’s one of my favorite campaigns right now. Only really ever consider it a lost cause if we get Quarry, which I just haaaaate. Not enough to quit but, damned close
There’s nothing wrong in liking the campaign, quite the opposite. It even used to be my favourite one and I kept praising it’s merits. But the situation changed. The gap between factions is too exaggerated and it results mostly in pve matches because axis deserted the campaign.
It’s not for me anymore…

Berlin can be fun if you don’t like an easy game and remember everything get better after you unlock panther but after all there’s a big chance you have to carry your team alone vs bunch of ppsh ppd spammers.
and yes berlin was easier to play axis for past few weeks and you still can find good teammate there.
Oh I get it man. It seems like I’m always top 3 unless I just play like total crap. And to be honest, I’m usually not playing like I deserve top 3 lol. Heck, I’m the top 1 more often there, than anywhere else and had my best game there (a modest 128 kills)
I just really like the mid-tier gear there so it quickly became my second most unlocked campaign (I think I’m level 19 there) even though I never played it when I first started playing this game.
Berlin’s my least favorite, despite the really cool gear just because I don’t enjoy close quarters combat as much as more flexible mid-range maps
The path is a painful one but once unlocked it is thing of beauty. I got Marshal playing Axis Stalingrad
