Squads should not be in a tier

Instead they should be placed in tiers by what equipment they carry. The only difference between I and IV is their starting perks. Other than that. No difference. Don’t overly complicate things by putting weapons and squads in a tier list.

Just delete squad tiers all together and have them placed in tiers based on what loadouts they are carrying. Seriously

I think having troop tiers have BRs aswell is really messy and inconvenient when building decks. Everyone will have lots of dispensable characters.

I get why though as higher tier soldiers get slightly more perk points.

I would instead suggest that they do not have a BR, and you can only buy trooper 1s. Through playing them they level up into troopers 2s and trooper 3s to gain those few extra perk points. (And choose whether to inherit free perk or not)

Not really, sure they have different base perks.
Besides that higher tier soldiers can get more perk points and thus you have more room to select what perks you want.

Best Rifleman I (17-17-17)
Vs
Best Rifleman III (19-19-19)

But on topic:
The different soldier classes are pretty meaningless and unnecessary. A way to artificially increase the grind. Should be removed tbf (and I say that even though I grinded them all)

This is likely because when they rework perks/stats, it makes sense that a higher tier soldier will have a higher tier BR since they are more likely to have expensive higher tier perks.

I respectfully disagree, organizing squads in tiers, even if not perfectely, is probably the thing I like the most about the new tech tree. It just prevents full-auto/flamethrower spam in lower/medium tiers (I - V) , where auto weapons albeit considerably weak can still be annoying for green players.

So unless someone wants to go purposefully seal clubbing in lower tiers, this should not be a problem for veterans and at the same time a huge improvements for new players.
