-I love this game and its premise, but as far as suggestions go, i think giving squads a basic commands
menu for more tactical gameplay would be amazing, id love to strategize more and make more use of
my squadmates kit. or make my own tactical manuevers to catch an enemy off guard.
-in fire fights ive noticed a few things, namely how odd it is that an enemy suffers no reprecussions from me laying down fire to pin them when a swaping mechanic exists? i think a suppressive fire system to encourage swaping, punish letting your squad die, and add a level of tactics, would be great. it would make automatic weapons which usually have worse time to kill be a far more viable option.
-vehicles, so someones gotta say it, tanks are strong early game, especially since grenades are hard to make use of against them, and that you dont unlock good anti tank options till later on, maybe if bullets could weaken armor? or damage non vital systems? or something so that its not so brutal when starting out first time against someone who just unlocked tanks. on that note i dont know how i feel about planes really but, i’d likely keep an eye on them since a good pilot can often rack up well over 100 kills.
-lastly loadouts, i LOVE the massive amount of customization, but i would kill to see if further depth comes up, like a different engineer who can build gun emplacements? or alternatives to ammo pouches? none of that is needed right now, but i would deffinately love more options to tweak game play developed later on, maybe basic gun customization? although honestly considering the vast amount of soldiers you have to manage that’d likely be to much.
maybe people can find reasosn why my ideas are bad, if so thats fair. i just love the game
