We should be able to toggle squad nationality according to our wish. DF will need to create new set of alternate nationality squad insignias and introduction cards. Or, if they are lazy they can just copy paste existing squads from the tech-tree. Maybe they have to create new insignias and introduction cards for squads that doesn’t have any foreign counterpart.
Squad level, progression, and upgrade tree shouldn’t be affected as it only change the insignia, name, and introduction card.
This way all you need to do is add more UK/Italian equipment in the tech-tree and people will stop hollering for adding independent UK/Italy.

Yep a button that lets you change the nationality to the squad cosmetics you already bought and set. Like br presets going from , br3 to br5 could be fun if you want all German all Italian or mix. I mean it’s not like you are asking them to double you squads for free that would be crazy. But how many options and how many shirts pants ect would each get. Be could be a crazy amount of content to add considering the number of cosmetic uniforms in game already

All they need to do is to commit more UK/Italian equipment to the tech tree and I think people will forgive them for all their mistakes.

Just bring back legacy squads and let people to sort squads legibly, including nationality. Also there should be made a browser of weapons, soldiers, vehicles and other things (mostly to fast find gold order stuff).
They probably won’t do it to honor veteran player contribution to the game

Can you give us a hint on whether it’s total squad nationality switch or just soldier nationality switch (now they wear and able to purchase british skins instead of US one)? Because when I check on the roadmap it said only for voice changing
