There is also a strong emphasis on the bots and how they behave in custom matches and in PvP; I’ve seen enemy bots that are more efficient than real players in custom.

Custom match enemy bots are far more intelligent then our squad bots. I can get a seven man squad in the upstairs of a cap point playing in custom matches where the enemy bots rarely come upstairs. Out of my six bots, two or three at some point will run downstairs and get shot. One will run to the roof and the ones that stay in the room will go stand next to an open door or window inviting themselves to be shot. I have had entire squads wiped out by one or two enemy bots because they will just stand there being shot without fighting back.
Enemy bots on the other hand are not that bad. I was shooting at one from the second floor balcony in Tunisia about 200 meters away with a sniper rifle. As soon as I clicked to shoot, the bot jumped backwards into a window while shooting me as he jumped. I missed because he moved and he hit me while in the air jumping. NTM they can jump from the first floor to the second up a stairway without touching a step and bayonnete you before you can click the mouse. The enemy has Rambots and we have Retardbots. 
In all honesty, none of these bots would have ever made it to basic training because they are so dumb they would have died trying to get to the recruiting station to enlist. I know they are made as cannon fodder, but do the Dev’s have to make it that damn obvious. They couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag.
The bots are so bad I only play long enough anymore to obtain my daily objectives then I’ve had too much bot frustration and call it quits.

Yeah, I’ve goofed around a few times and almost lost the match. I actually did lose one once. I forgot the damn game timer still ran during personal custom matches. I almost always play invasion as I like to invade, and I had taken the first four cap points and still had over 900 tickets left, so I thought it was a good time to work on my plane bombing skills. I figured I could ride the air and if my ai team bots couldn’t tackle the final cap point I would bail out and take it at around 300 tickets. Problem was, the timer started clicking down at 550 tickets. Stupid me, I saw the counter start ticking just after I had dropped bombs and was in the process of turning around. I figured I could drop one more load the jump. NOT…I did get it dropped then jumped, but my other three crew members were killed once I got into the cap point, and I couldn’t capture it by myself. So, even though I was in the cap point killing soldiers, the clock ran out.
I’ve been petitioning the dev’s to give custom match people the option of countdown clock or not. I would shut it off since I like to experiment in custom matches. Sometimes I also choose too many bots and I have a hard time keeping up.

My bots are like deers on the highway.
When I cross a field, if someone shoots in their general direction, instead of continuing to sprint, following me to (relative) safety, they stop in their track, just stand there and watch at the shooters while looking curious.
It’s not very effective…

They are stupid but they can really kick ass
No doubt they were made as cannon fodder first, and if one or two of them survive then for our use. However, it’s always irritated me that 2/3rds of our tickets are burned up by suicidal cannon fodder bots. I can work hard to get all my bots into a safe place only to watch them one by one either leave the place, or intentionally stand in front of an open door or window. Then, when I get into the cap point through a backroom window, every one of my damn bots will ignore the window and head for the front door, insuring that everyone of them dies.
They piss me off so much, I can only play 3 or 4 games now before I’m so disgusted I throw in the towel and go play my Sniper Elite.
