It was a problem before, squad didn’t stay in trench for cover. Problem was solved a while ago (for trench already in map, not those we dig), but now i notice some squad having problem back. I order to go in trench while I go other way but I look back and half are out getting killed instantly. I think we need a new command for squad that order “go there” but aiming a trench (even those we dig) would order “trench cover” with a little update
If you have “wide” formation they likely not gonna stay in trenches.
Also, remember that you can give all soldiers individual commands. It helps me keeping them alive in many situations.

Formation is pretty much always standard but anyway i did try close formation in trench but doesn’t really make difference. And how do you give individual soldiers different command? I just know “attack tank” will send 1 soldier but i didn’t know you can make this guy to go that window, this 1 in another room, this 1 in another house, etc. Tell me and this could be a real help loll
I figure it out : control / squad. Loll so simple and i had no idea that was in option. Thanks you very much for letting me know. We need a real and complete tutorial so we can all know from the beginning
