Squad Advance/Retreat Order

a bit of context:

greetings, today i would like sugget an additional squad order that i think it’s quite fundamental.

countless time the enemies captured a strategic point behind my squad, and my bots decide to die despite me telling them to retreat to the other point.

plus, majority of the time, my command order cannot reach the point ( due to the distance i suppose ).

so today i come with a suggestion:

How Does it Work?

it’s fairly simple, you open your command wheel, select the formation, and select the " Retreat/Advance Button " ( which does the same thing for assaulting and defending the point )

( doesn’t have to be necessarily on the formation section, but i’d recon it’s the one with less command for faster use ).
once the squad leader give the order, the bots will start to abandon their position and stop firing at the enemy.

the idea, is that they SHOULD fully sprint with no interruption towards the Capture point, in order to avoid the AIs getting stucked in the Grey Area, or them dying while they are attempting to reach the next point ( because they are too busy shooting and stopping ).

once they reached the capture point, they will remain there until further instruction will be give to them. but they will start shooting back if they face targets ONCE they reached the destination ( normal behavior ).
and just like personal squad order, in order to dismiss them so that they follow you, just tap the " follow me order " and they will start following you again.

weather for the attackers, it’s basically the same thing, although used for attacking a point without shooting bullets.

i can see this one being a bit risky, but sometimes ( at least for me ) it’s important that my bots start getting their feets in the capture point instead of stopping their selves in the middle of the road, and get shot doing that.
quite frankly, majority of the time not a single AI reach the point alive despite me babysitting them the best i can.

so, some of them might die because they rush, but it’s better than having no one alive on the point at turtle speed.

in conclusion:

so yeah, that’s basically it.
should have worked similarly to the “promised squad behavior orders” but we got none.
so yeah, i’ll start with this one, and if necessary, proceed with others.

let me know what you guys thinks about it.
( perhaps the majority are tryharders, which i’m somewhat as well, but i do care about the lives of my pixels. my little treasure )

Fully agree, I sometimes want bots to rush a place. Also, an option for them to crowd on the point I mark, because they seem incapable of staying still when I find them some cover unless I individually assign each a location.
