Does anyone else fell that marking enemy units can help win the match ? ( ok it’s not as glamorous as rushing a position but this is a team game ) ?

Knowing where the enemies are always helps to win a match. Easier to kill vehicles and people when you know where they’re at.

mennnnn, Spoting is SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT in modern warfare. if you are spoted, you alerdy half dead, is like. half you life is how many bullets you have, and other half is how exposed you are.
what you can,t see you can,t hit. still spoting can delivery alot of mayhen by artilhary and bombers. not only other infantry hiting then has well,
still, has i am a men of constructive policy in forums, i like say something i learned though alot of years studying military,
there are 4 types of fire.
Direct one. Guns and bullets usualy fired from infantry. if you spread you troops, make then take cover, let then in the position. you have arcs of fire. if the enemy put the faces then shoot it. that makes advance be hard.
Indirect one, Artilhary AND granedes. used to weaken enemy lines. so you can advance. trough the Gaps in their lines that if pro made where hard to get in.
Bombard One, Comes from aircraft, that have mobily range. still bombard one expose you aircraft, if you have how weaken the enemy whith artilhary, USE, because will not expose you aircraft.
and intercept one, whith is anti air fire. when you need to be one step ahead of the aircraft, knowing the target of it. position your AA gun in the way the plane is coming, AND make the right timing.
i talked alot of years to understand that. but what i saying is, Belive me, Spoting IS VERY IMPORTANT. in modern warfare.
i not wiling to be rude at all, but belive me. understand those things took me alot of years. i glad to say stuff like this,
ahh, i have one last theory, Hiting things is very important. so hit you targuets or else. everthing i say above is bullshiet. and how hit? by spoting targuets friest.
Yes, this is what I said, nobody denied this. At all. The opposite, we agree with it.
It’s why we have the spotting button bound to V, so you can spot things.

Thank you for your replies ( although I can’t figure out the one from thecampingowl ! ) when I’ve spotted units i seen infantry armour heading towards them as well as arty, planes etc homing in on them .

but, also simple things are very usefull,
keep you squad spacing, (for defence)
Keep the enemy spoted (for atack)
hit the targuets, (for damage)
do this 3 very basic things, you can,t miss it.
There were cases where I used to fly IL-2 and launched rockets on the tank-mark not seeing tanks themselves and managed to set them on fire. So yeah.
Yes, and marking tanks should give points.
Where’s the binoculars? That was one of the main things they used.
