Špitálský rifle (BR2 Rifle Germany)

Experimental Rifle Špitálský 1882 | Museum and Gallery Most The Špitálský rifle used a rotating cylinder, that turned with each pull of the bolt, in place of a conventional spring-guided magazine. This system was advantageous in that it allowed the rifle to hold nine rounds, which was more than was typically offered by competing designs. The revolver system was, however, more mechanically complex and user-unfriendly than a simple spring-loaded magazine.
