The PZ 3 J in Tunisia is a great addition if you have just unlocked the tanker 2 at level 18 or so

Any of your favourite free vehicle version is a good choice as gold order (when also available in gold)
Wait for current BP to end.
Spend gold on older ones.
Get a new BP vehicle on the next BP pass with it.

But if you like to upgrade the later one its bit pref in a way as it looks cooler. How ever the golden one is much better cammo in Urban environment and idk how many times the enemy tanks havent seen me since it blends in so well

But the Regular One have mounted so much Things which gives extra Armour.
So i decided for SU85 and doesnt Regret. I prefer it and dont take IS1 with me.

there will be new gold order vehicles available when new BP arrives which will be in 1 week or 2 weeks or 3 weeks or 4 weeks … just lets say soon !
