Special Events - Points collection system problematic. Need to work too!

Hi,

I play this game quite a lot and I really like to collect all sorts of event materials and stuff to my game. It is quite fun and gives additional boost for playing.

The thing is these events are set in a way that you have to achieve 15 000 battle points a day and every day in order to get something out of it or to do some special tasks.

This does not seem really fair because during weekends or on vacation I have time to do that, yet other times I have this thing called “Work” that I have to do in order to pay for my life.

Could this system be set up in a way that you need to collect the same amount of points/ tasks but you could do MORE of them ahead for one day when you have time so that you would not need to try to log in every day because to some of us that is impossible and then we end up missing event after event for no good reason at all?

I could fill that thing during weekend ahead of the time and be happy with it?

Currently the situation favors only people who are unemployed, students with short school days and easy things to study and pensioners.

This kind of puts the most valuable segment of customers/ players to the worst possible position?

15k really isn’t that much

but this is a good idea regardless. sometimes people just don’t have time to play at all

lmao get ready for the BA students to seethe and cope

That is the other thing…

15 000 points is actually quite a lot and takes few hours to make, it is all about luck what kind of games you will get into but at the same time, for example right now I feel like playing a bit more and it would be useless?

Then again, I check the calendar and realize that I am screwed because I dont have the hours/ energy to put into this in the coming weeks due to my work?

Any BA student in today’s world has it TOO EASY, they are all bunch of lazy kids who should be working and leaving these games to people like me who have done their school and work already!

If you are a good player then it takes 1.5h-2h to get 15k points so it’s nothing for me, even if i lose every match it shouldn’t take more than 3h. But i agree about being able to do more tasks a day than just one, sometimes i don’t feel like playing Enlisted or i’m busy.

you see that is exactly what they count on in these events. if you cant play cause you have to work, you will have money to actually pay for the progress in the event…

It is much.
Your average joe is getting 2000-2500 per match. That’s just about 2 hours daily
I get 4000-5000 per match, doesn’t mean I can’t advocate for people who aren’t that good

I really preferred the previous system where the amount of event participation was not capped by day. It’s not difficult, but I don’t want to play the game every single day.

Well I found your problem.

But yes, we should be able to achieve more than 15k per day.

This system would be fantastic! I’m all for it and am sure all the guys I play with would absolutely love this too!

I disagree. I have 3 kids and manage an Engineering team of 30 people. Most weeknights I will not have 15k XP worth of time. Could I afford to pay for it? Sure. Will I? No chance.

These event formats are are a great idea and I love almost everything about them. That said, they need to be reasonably attainable by a reasonable number of players. If it’s just a money grab then no thank you. The company should target revenue by keeping players engaged, not bludgeoning them into playing EVERY day or spending money every day (which most of us will not do even if we can).

1st event - 5k points per day
2nd - 10k
Current one - 15k
Well, i don’t like where it goes, and i wouldn’t like to see 100k per day…

Absolutely.

Let us at the very least complete the “150k” total score when we want: in 10 days or in 1 day, if we have the time.

I get it that the company’s goal is exactly to frustrate the player who missed out on “just that one day” into buying it. But even that argument doesn’t work when you know you’ll have a week-long business trip/travels soon and you already know with 100% certainty that you will not get the Australian squad/Japanese squad/Chi-Ha Kai (all rip for me).

It actually kinda random, yesterday it took about 7 games to claim the reword, and today just 2. It’s just a bad luck, don’t worry about it to much, I hope I can at least take both squads of at chads.

The only thing I don’t like is:
If you miss one day, you will never be able to earn it back. Even if you have time to play later.

There’s a thing called DAU.
As a game as a service. Also F2P.
You are literally working for dev too.
So that’s why I hate WT and marathon

It’s not XP, it’s score, which means it will take even longer for average players

Understood - that said, that’s part of the problem. They say “score” and even experienced players have to guess what that means. No chance for a casual or new player to feel the least bit engaged with that sort of system. Add in the daily thing and you’ve eliminated most people who are serious students or have a career. What are you left with? A tiny percentage of people who might have been engaged.

They should make days missed back log into the next. Example: miss the 15k on day 1 then on day 2 you can get the 15k twice to make up for the prior day. Say there’s 10 days in an event and you miss 9 days, on the final day you can try and get all the score needed for all 10. Lmao if you can get 150k in one day, if they stick with 15k, then the reward is deserved :ok_hand:t3:

I quite like that idea, one of the better suggestions.
