i started some Days ago with Enlisted.
Unlocked yesterday my Plane.
Is it only for me so or are German Planes in Moscow flying Tanks?
It say / show that we must aim on the White Marker. I do that fly really close behind German Plane / was one of this big ones. A Bomber or so. Shooted my whole 500 shoots on it and it show whole time Hits. But it does not crashing. Just flying away and resupply his Ammo.
So is aim on the White Marker wrong? Or what must i do to kill Enemy Planes?
And what i cant understand is. When a German Plane shoot on me. Then its always Wing destroyed and my Plane is out of control and crash.
Help/Tips are welcome. Here is no Plane Training Mission so i must do it this Way.
You play with the first lil plane; it’s extremely agile but lacks any real firepower. It’s also very flimsy and is easily taken out. It will get better once you unlock the IL (bomber plane) however. THAT is a flying tank, and along with decent bombs has enough firepower to take down german bombers easily… if they don’t kamikaze on the ground first.
the marker is only fpr the pilot, tryo to shoot the engines (sometimes its a two engines plane)
also if you want to snipe the pilot, aim little bit higher then the marker
and like the other ppl said, the damage model is kind of broken
Yes its really fast and agile.
I just shooted in the last Match on the Wings and it helped. Or better say i just try it.
It taked only around 150 shoots to destroy a German Ju Dive Bomber. Shooted down 2 in a Match.
And unlocked some min ago the Plane Nr 2 and tested it to. But it controls like a flying Stone. Or it just feel like one for me. I was able to kill more with Plane Nr 1 / the Scout Plane then with the il2.
And with the White Marker i thinked before that i must aim on this one to make Damage / hit the Plane. So like in Warthunder.
well yes, the hit marker is more like a “you can shoot at this point, but there are more other better points to shoot at”
well, honestly i dont play allies moscow, because i always start one side and try to max level it and i started with axies in moscow…
what i want to say is: i dont know, why the planes feels like a stone, maybe you can adjust the settings for planes (there are some good videos at youtube)
but dont ask me what, i play on console with controller so i dont know the right settings for mouse and keyboard, moreover nowadays i am not happy with the settings of mine
Biplane is not so bad (rockets don’t kill planes at direct hit for some reason - don’t waste ammo that way).
IL2 much better plane when you learn to fly it: best cannons, 2d at bomb load (for USSR, german bomb loads are OP).
YaK1 is fast, but thats all: main cannon damage is ridiculous, 1 drop of 2 tiny bombs. I-153 fells better.
Pe-3 is heavy fighter (modded Pe-2 dive-bomber with all bomder-related equipment trashed) with worst ground attack configuration (4*100kg possible, 6 rockets given). Why not Pe-2? Because devs need german bombers to be best.

Yes and i didnt know that before. I readed a while ago ingame that we must shoot on the White Marker so i just did that. And wonder the whole time why it eats my whole Ammo. And Germans just flys away then.

I fly with my Mouse and checked today the Settings. Here are a lot without Keybinding.
Im new so not really good for the moment.
But i prefer for now the Scout / 1 Plane then the il2 for Dogfights. I can outturn the Enemies.
Maybe its so because i using my Mouse for flying.
