I learned certain cosmetics was keyword was free but in the recent new build of the test posted by the devs certain cosmetic freedom have been taken from the players.
These cosmetics (that I know of) that were free for the game for quite sometime like several updates by now was free to the players via cosmetic tickets, when players noticed this it does thing called, DISCOURAGING PLAYERS FROM PLAYING THE GAME.
When you discourage players from idk participating in the game, they’re far less likely to pay money on the game, which in turn makes you the developers less money for the game which I enjoy.
Should these cosmetics and others were not aware of yet come back in being payed for with cosmetics tickets?
It’s hopefully a bug on test server. If everyone reports it as a bug maybe they’ll be too embarrassed to come out and say it’s a cashgrab and just revert it and say ‘fixed ’
Instead, why not give us cosmetic compensation for it? For example, the German helmet cover that’s going to be removed belongs to the MG42 Early squad, but it doesn’t have a matching tunic or trousers. So instead, we could replace it with a new Plane Tree helmet cover, which already has matching trousers and a tunic.
I don’t know the specific cosmetic in question. If it was always advertised as being a unique event or premium, then I’m fine with this. But that depends on how long the bug has been present, too, and how widely it was acknowledged, and whether they plan to remove items from people who purchased them for tickets that “shouldn’t have been able to.”
If it was free or available for appearance orders (which you can buy) why would I pay gold for the same thing. They shouldn’t have released them for free then left them there for months and come back later and said now for gold only. on a related note I think if you own the squad or any premium squad you should be able to buy them for appearance orders too, If you don’t you should be able to buy it for gold only. If we want to be fancy buy x number of uniforms (with gold) equivalent to the squad price to get the squad eg 600 for an event squad because 600 per task and 2950 for BR2 premium and so on.
For me that’s borderline fine. If you get to keep what you “purchased” with tickets, then good, BUT, maybe someone purchased half a squad with the tickets they had, and then the cosmetic goes away before they fully outfit the squad. Now it costs gold, so their previous purchases are wasted, or they have to spend money to finish the squad. They wouldn’t have spent the tickets if they knew they’d never be able to finish the squad without paying money.
I think at a certain point the devs just have to say “my bad, that’s an appearance order item now, you’re welcome”
My prediction is that you’ll get to keep it, which is why most people are stocking up on them right now. But it would still be nice to get a new cosmetic replacement, as I mentioned before.
