Like the title says, see screenshot below.
The active soldier in the squad, regardless of class, does not show they have any grenades or explosive packs even if they do. Once you switch soldiers, it will show the previous soldier had grenades, etc.

It does not show on the soldier you have selected. That is across the board.

No probs, I was weirded out by it as well. Did not make sense how they did it.
Just put the same thing on everything I would say
Annoying, when I’m quickly looking for a squad member with explosive pack to blow up that tank, swap around to notice I had one on the first guy I was on
