Least concerning thing to implement right now, but as I was able to die from the same hands under various circumstances like 7 times in a single LF game, I wished to tell the guy he was awesome, but found no way (except marking him as friend, but that wasn’t my intention).
It would be great if I could “like” players who made some matches worth to remember (this was the third person during entire open beta who triggered that wish, 2 enemies and 1 teammate). As far as I know currently I can only complain.
As an “upgraded” idea I was thinking of funky badges like
- “Oops, you did it again x7” (here the number would show the actual kills from him),
- “Best flanker, still lost on the battlefield”,
- “You left your knife in me.”,
- “Buddy builder” (for a good engineer)
- “GG boys”, “Tank you”, “Ouch, that still hurts” etc.
with nice icons. It could be possible to check later the received and awarded badges (including names) in a less strictly military zone of the game like a canteen, and I’d even be willing to transfer some of my XP (say 30% of the given match) as a bonus to the badge as a gift, but this part is not necessary, just that would be a limiting factor to make these badges worthy.
Or if these badges are not in line with the authentic WW2 feeling (and after second reading maybe they aren’t funny either) then with something more appropriate, or just a single “Recommend for promotion” button, which would increment a counter.
Well, thanks for hearing me out, funny badge ideas are welcomed.
