- Single objective
Full map, but only one objective is active. Can be of any type (invasion, defense, conquest), the players keep fighting for the objective until one side runs out of resources. Would be especially great in dense urban maps.
- Open battle
A constant battle on the server, never ends, players fight to control points in open warfare. When you are ready to leave, you leave. There is no experience penalty for leaving the battle.
- War Games
I have mentioned this before…a battle where you are given the initial combat units you had when you started, all level one, all basic equipment. You fight against your OWN faction to control points on the map. When killed, a player sits down on the ground, since they are not really dead…it is a war game.
You get no XP, no progression, nothing except learning how to play properly. Explosions are greatly diminished, as they are simply blasting caps on grenades or set explosive packs for simulated artillery. The effect is the same however as if they were real, but players sit down when dead.
They still disappear as normal from the map. Again, you get no rewards for the battle, just practice.
So, no planes, no tanks, no artillery barrages, just players fighting each other.
