A frontline in Enlisted is the current version of a campaign in the pre-merge. It consists of at least 1 main map (excluding all its variants (modes)) and has a specific customization category (that can be merged with an already existing one, like Rzhev in Rzhev/Stalingrad). It’s usually categorized as a frontline (and not as a battlefield) because it has more new assets and doesn’t have an area (area being the background to the map - for example Wald is a battlefield, because the greater Seelow Heights area already existed ingame).
My reasons for these suggestions are the mention of updated customizations in SITREP 2 in the “Frontline Fashion” section and the title of the update (“Far Eastern Front”) being mentioned in “CHANGES TO PERK MODIFIERS AND BOOSTER LIMITATIONS”. The only thing up to debate would be the locations - I personally think that there are two maps - one based on Sakhalin Island and one on mainland Manchuria - most likely around Harbin or Port Arthur.
I know that it’s almost impossible to see the suggestions being received and taken into consideration before the update, but I believe most of the proposed content wouldn’t be in the update (making the suggestions still valid in the future for the next major update).
Some suggestions will be repeated from my previous post.
1.Appearance
a) USSR
-Adding a non-premium, non-event camouflage pattern, that is appropriate for the Pacific. There are few interesting patterns which are historically accurate and appealing - the revolutionary TTsMKK (late-war - 1944 to 45, disruptive and digital-looking pattern, used against early NV (night vision) technology) and the widespread 1941 Letniy Kamuflyazh (early to late war - 1941 to 45, leaf pattern, reversible - a mainly green-beige and a mainly grey-tan version).

These patterns are also appropriate for the Battle of Berlin campaign.
-Adding appropriate headwear for the Pacific. The only specific example I have for such kind of equipment is the M1938 “Panamka” - a predecessor to the famous Afghanka cap.

This would also fit in campaigns around Crimea or/and Caucasus.
-Adding a buckled version of the SSh-40. It’s a minor but very basic change.
-Adding a regular infantry version of the soviet peaked cap - currently we only have two versions - one belonging to the NKVD and one to the armoured branch.

This version (of the NKVD) only requires a recolouring the crown in a uniform colour - khaki, green, etc.
There could also be created another version for border guards, which requires a recoulour of the crown to green and the band to black (doing this with the armoured branch version only requires the first). It would be less historical (for Manchuria, not for Berlin/Rzhev/Stalingrad/Moscow) but it’s a cool addition for the minimal effort.
-Adding navy uniforms. During the invasion of Manchuria and Sakhalin, the Soviet Pacific fleet played a huge supporting role - by securing amphibious landings and providing infantry (both marines and naval infantry) to support the ground invasion. So, not including the navy presence would be a critical loss.
Here are examples of their uniforms:

(The only difference (that I presume) between the examples and the actual soviet naval infantry/marines in the Far East is that on their caps would be written “ТИХООКЕАНСКИЙ ФЛОТ” (PACIFIC FLEET).)
As you can see a lot can be improved from the examples in-game:
I should probably mention that these uniforms don’t have HA significance only in Far East - they were present in Moscow and Stalingrad, but also in Sevastopol, Odessa and the Crimean offensive operations.
I would like them to be represented just by uniforms, but I wouldn’t be disappointed if they are an event squad or a regular tech tree squad. Just don’t make them premium because currently both marine squads are premium.
-Removing the armour stats of Soviet body armour. Soviet body armour is unfair, because it’s available in all maps for all squads, while other factions only have event/premium examples if they have any at all (regarding the Commonwealth/USA).
b)Empire of Japan & its subjects
-Finally receiving the 4-piece customization (face, headgear, upper uniform and pants) instead of keeping the 3-piece (face headgear, uniform). It drastically lowers the variety of possible choices. Only tankers and pilots across all factions (inconsistently) use this system, and even they shouldn’t.
-Consistent colouring. While in-game uniforms are light green and grey, realistically most were ether beige/khaki or olive green. The only actual fitting items are the medic uniform (having only the khaki tunic) and the peaked cap. I don’t think it requires a lot of effort - it’s just recolouring.
(Here you can see 5 different colours of uniform. Currently the 1-2 and 4-5 combinations are the default and largely unchangeable, because of the 4-piece model.)
-Updating Japanese faces. The face options haven’t had the radical update they need. When comparing them to the Chinese counterparts it’s easy to spot the difference, but they are appalling even compared to the uglier of Soviet faces.

-Adding a non-premium, non-event camouflage. The only problem being - the IJA and IJN didn’t have a formal pattern. More often the Japanese used the local foliage, because it was cheaper and more convenient. I personally think the pattern in-game is adequate.

There could be created a new pattern, by recolouring the asset - for example brightening the khaki and turning the green into darker smaller blots. The camouflage pattern featured as a whole isn’t HA - only being used by the Giretsu Kuteitai on Okinawa.
The Japanese, receiving “Ghillie suit” adjacent options would be both more interesting and realistic.

(This specific customization is already available to the premium Sniper Arisaka Type 99 Squad)
-Adding Manchurian army insignia. From I what I found, at the late stages of the war - the Manchurian army wasn’t very distinguishable from the Kwantung, the only difference being that the Manchurian wore the five-coloured star instead of the Japanese yellow star.
Essentially just replacing the normal star on Japanese headgear with:

2.Tech tree
a) Weapons
-Adding silenced weapons.
Both the Soviets and the Japanese used silenced weapons, although the Japanese didn’t have specific weapons, designed to be silenced and all silenced versions were field modifications.
My personal picks for silenced weapons are:
PPSh-41 (S) - already present in Enlisted
Type 100 (S) SMG

-Adding/buffing Japanese semi-automatic rifles on BR III and IV. The SVT models are the best TT semi-automatic rifles for their BR’s and wouldn’t have a strong competition withe the current Japanese options.
-Replacing the “captured” versions of RPzB 43 Ofenrohr (RPzB 54) for more appropriate (at least regionally) options. For the US it should be replaced by the M20 “Super Bazooka”

and for the Japanese - you could either give them the M20 as “captured”, or just could go more fictional/original by recolouring the Type 4 Rocket Launcher and changing a little bit the asset of the rocket and naming it something like “Type 100 Rocket Launcher”.
The Germans should probably get the Panzerschrek (RPzB 54/1) after all this time, as an upgrade. It will require the same amount of XP to be researched and will have the same price (or slightly increased). The only differences, that would make it worth researching are the shorter length, slightly better penetration (+10 to +20 mm maximum) and a shield that protects from small arms fire, like the shield on the premium Type Hei.
(the RPzB 54/1 is the top one. Both RPzBs are available in the editor)
Talking about AT launchers, we could have a Soviet high BR option (similar to the RPzB 54 in purpose - having higher velocity and linear trajectory, with good penetration) - the RPG-1. This would be an intermediate AT weapon between the Panzerfaust 60 and 100, having 200 mm of penetration (in real life 140).
-Adding BR 2/3 semi-automatic rifles as sniper weapons with scopes:
M1 Carbine

Johnson M1941

Gewehr 41
Type 4

Type Hei
(For the Hei we could create a new variation by lengthening the barrel, improving velocity and hit power.)
Amaguerra Mod. 39
(Getting the same treatment as the Hei.)
Fedorov Rifle 1912
(Swapping the bayonet for a scope)
b) Vehicles
-Adding a BR V bomber for Japan. The best option I found was the Ki-48 Sokei “Lily”

(An aircraft that should match the Ju-188 and the Tu-2S, having 4 crew - 1 pilot and 3 gunners, having high speed and a high payload.)
-Adding the T-44A. Historically it actually managed to arrive and operate in the last 3 days of war in the Far East, making it somewhat HA. It would be at BR V, since it’s a direct T-34-85 upgrade.

-Standardizing Enlisted’s vehicles. By that I mean the adding the features available only to ground vehicles to planes, more specifically: the X-ray and Armour tabs to planes; planes’ skins (currently planes can only equip decals, not having any access to camouflages).
-Adding non-event/non-premium/non-gold customization. By that I mean the addition of camoflagues, which get automatically unlocked by leveling up (like in WT) and decals, which either also get unlocked with levels or are purchasable with silver.
This are the features that I suggest to be included. There could be more, but I’m trying to keep posts smaller, so they are easily digestible.Thank you for reading!
What are your thoughts on the update before coming out? At the time of writing this “Weapons and vehicles of the “Far Eastern Front” update” has just come out and I can’t say I’m impressed. I’m happy that they are adding the B-25J-30 and the Type 2 assault rifle. Although he B-25 could deepen the problem for the Japanese (their thin TT to be exact), because before the update both nations don’t have a large BR V bomber, but after the update the Japanese would have to deal with that also. It’s important to note that Japanese air superiority is still worse in many ways compared to every other faction, having inconsistent aircraft (no BR V attacker pilot aircraft, having the worst jet (capable of fighting only with 1 other non-jet aircraft at a time, on it’s own terms (attacking)), overclustered BR V fighter aircrafts, with limited armaments for ground targets (especially armoured) and 2 planes without a frontal armament making the useless at attacking conventionally other planes (having only 2 choices - defending with the back MG turret or ramming your plane into the enemy)). I think this situation would be made very clear with the fighting of Soviets (which In my opinion have the second worst planes to Japan).
