Hello, so after 30h in game time in Closed Beta I have a couple of suggestions.
A button for being able to strip down soldiers to default. (all items put in your inventory)
When you change soldier from squad to reserve you can transfer all items if the person is from same squad (specialist).
When you send a soldier to academy for training make all troops put items back in inventory. This should be done like this tho. After selecting all 3 before you procced to train them should get a message that all your items will go into inventory and soldiers get training.
When you start building any structure as engineer you can swap to another unit and AI finishes the build.
Only 2 Rally points at the same time on the map. Good teams can abuse it.
An option to build a new rally point and the old one being destroyed.
small icon of what kind of weapon will be picked up from ground.
As engineer sometimes I pick up another gun and I drop my construction hammer and I lose it forever. Either lets make it that you can only have 1 gun for that unit or have Construction hammer in different slot. Same goes for Radio operator.

4: just make sure to hold LMB when you swap for it to work
5: that would make it possible for allies to put the rally point in useless spots where they don’t fit any purpose rather not.
6: every building requires you to find and deconstruct the old one, no need for rally points to be different.
7: sure, not really a priority to me tho as just remembering the names works too
8: I do hope weapon swapping would prioritize the weapon you are holding unless you carry no second weapon. Note that you can pick your hammer back up if you drop it on accident.
I’m with you in all beside 5 & 6, there should be only one deployable spawn for that team (not based on players engineer it counts for the team). Considering the time it takes to destroy the construct (by default “J”) the team has to be prevented from being able to construct another one before the only one is destroyed, note that the team itself can destroy it too.
For 1, 2 & 3, it started by some fellow testers finding out that the items actually disappear/lost although I would say this was felt by everyone engaged with the system (Academy). The community asked for a change & provided idea way long ago but nothing was implemented, I wish to see more action on this field although 3 seems to be the best answer as the game would do it automatically than the player individually keep tracking specific soldiers from menu to menu.
Good knowledge, however when an engineer left with a hammer the AI won’t swap to a weapon to fight.
