Some suggestions for not being an easy target for rocket planes when using a tank?

I’m better with the tank than I am with infantry, and I’m instantly destroyed by rocket-armed aviation as soon as I enter the field.

Notice from which direction airplanes are attacking. And try to cover yourself behind some building or other environment.
Most of pilots are lazy to change theirs direction of attack. So they instead just attack objective for free kills.

If there is no cover, always keep moving. It will be harder to destroy your tank with bombs/rockets and especially EPs.

But not for every situation exist solution, sometimes you’ll get blown up because your team just don’t care there’s plane that is constantly bullying you.

In addition, if an enemy plane is coming but it hasn’t spotted you yet, cease fire until it has dropped its load. MG tracers and the blast of your main gun can give away your position, even if nobody has marked you.

Don’t be too greedy. If you sit on one spot (esp. in grey zone) and farm kills from there, someone will spawn a plane eventually to take care of you.

If you are dealing with a semi competent pilot he will spot you no matter what you do, and he will delete you no matter what.

Either except that, play a campaign that isn’t a joke for tankers or play infantry.

You can’t hide behind the entire map and expect to be still useful for your team.

Try not to get spotted.
Stay in relative cover. High walls/cover on both sides or the side from where they are attacking will hide and shield you.
Keep moving. Never stay in the same spot to long.

Ask your team-mate to take the fighter plane or build AA-gun.
Staying behind the cover is not very effective, as the pilots are not dumb.

AA guns do nothing, at least in Normandy. I’ve emptied the whole mag, getting majority hits, and not even start a leak. Roof mounted machineguns do more damage more reliably than stationary AA, and HMGs are the only way of damaging them enough reliably to bring them down, but then you have a tiny arc of fire.
