Some questions - who knows?

Hello comrades!

I had some questions which gathered up. Maybe someone of you can answer them.

  1. What is the exact difference between a BR-1 and BR-5 mortar?
I know that the BR-5 one can deal damage to tanks at least. Does it do more infantry damage?

  2. Does a sprint penalty also apply when the machinegun is not held in hands?
Like when i use the shovel while running instead of the machinegun.

  3. Does the increased firearm reload speed perk also apply on mortars/anti-tank guns?
Both rocket launchers and anti-tank rifles.

  4. Does additional tracks on the armor increase the armor thickness by its mm?
Lets say a tank got additional 20mm of armor in front of the hull.

  5. Do silencers actually work?
Do they alert less enemies when firing?

  6. Does additional fence armor actually protect the tank?
Like the ones on the turret of the IS-2 1944. Shells/grenades/rockets?

  7. 20mm cannons, is AP or HE more effective?
Which for enemy planes, which for enemy infantry.

  8. When landing a plane, is it possible to use some kind of break when rolling forward on the ground?
I usually roll half a kilometer trying to stop.

  9. Do anti-tank rockets deal good damage to infantry too?
    Like the Panzerfaust or Bazooka.

Can anyone answer to one or all of these questions?

yes, and they’re way more accurate

No

Everything except mortars

Yes

Yes

Slightly, but not enough to make a difference against any rocket launcher

HE for both

Enough to kill them on a direct hit

I don’t land planes so i cant answer 8

any armour that is modelled usually does work :slightly_smiling_face:

they do, AI does have a harder time noticing the player, I think they are also less perceptive against captured weapons (or they are just dumb)

it does work against HEAT shells to some degree though its not very far from the main armour plate so the results are mixed.

it did stop HEAT shell, but faired poorly against rockets, especially when hit directly (not from an angle).

but the same is true for German SchĂĽrzen armour

These are all I know,
Edit: and Euthy has beat me to it.

about the he/ap question for 20mm cannons like the t60 for example, out of my feeling, it seemed to be working way better with AP rounds, especially against infantry. it was a one-hit kill and HE always needed multiple shots…

Yes planes have brakes. B is the default key on pc. When I brake, I’m usually still taxiing too fast and I flip over forward and crash. To avoid that, I dont hold the brake non stop, just press it repeatedly.

This and some planes like stuka have air brake. (H)

You use the rudder, flaps and brakes to create drag. Slows you fown faster.
