- Recruit players for a test server before make any updates. At least fix obvious bugs before update them to normal servers
- spilt engineer’s building weapon to different groups. For example normal 9 man rifle men squad get stationary mg. at group get at guns. Engineer keep aa guns. And place these stationary weapons like vehicle team’s vehicle where it can be upgraded.
- add more building for engineer team. High walls, permanent spawns(or large, hard spawns that can spawn troops even there are battles nearby. but cant get close to the battlefield), granade supplies, landmine fields and allow engineers to clear mines with mine detector(like disable all scaned landmines). And allow engineer to repair tanks without repair tools
- Instead of having stationary mg on sandbag walls, allow players to build them seperatly.
- Limit player’s plane number and give planes a way to exit battlefield them allow them to respawn as other teams without using human points. So players wont just kamikaze with planes
- Allow players to reinforce their groups after their team get certain amount of kills. For example after taking an obj i only have 2 guys in my group and This group have 10+ kills then they can retreat to spawn and reinforced back to full number.
- have in game chats that can be seen by both teams.
- Allow players to tag other players with tags that can only be seen by the player who write it.
- Allow players to draw on maps.
- allow players to see the projectile and impact zone when they try to throw granade. As well as at weapons.
- show players what are devs are doing weekly instead of just telling players after devs have done something.
- Actually had a tester recruitment thing a while ago. SoonTM I guess.
- Nah. They “should” get better stuff than the engineer but engineers should have sth. worth to build.
- No to high spawnser, high walls are pointless since easy to destroy and mine detectors are useless since most people rush anyway.
- Yes.
- Encourages plane spawn camping.
- No. Pointless since people spam and rush with no brain, no one will bother and could also lead to people “living” forever if no cap.
- Why? To insult the enemy team or what?
- Sure I guess.
- Current tags are enough for the map. No one use them anyway.
- Throw path is enough, same goes to AT weapons. At some point, people need to care for their own.
- Good luck with that because devs are lazy, always know it better and overall just have awful PR policy.
holy handhold batman
because it would allow us to grow communities better. then at least you can invite good players from the enemy team to your discord or chat to them during one of the many boring games
A lot of this I agree with, however:
I disagree. 9 man rifleman squads unique in that they are the largest squad. Howver, I would like to see the standard MG nest receive a buff and still be on the engineer squads. Engineer 1 squad should get the current version, and Engineer 2 should receive the buffed version.
- I disagree with resupplying grenades from a balance perspective.
- Landmines should still be set by hand rather than a “buildable” minefield. HOWEVER, a small and large mine pouch need to be introduced as a backpack option. Grenades have a backpack option and are both cheaper and generally more effective than mines, as they can be used by both offense and defense.
- I don’t think engineers should get the minesweeping ability, though I do think that an entirely new type of squad needs to be introduced. A sapper unit of sorts. Given 2 options for a secondary “weapon”, a minesweeper, and a bangalore torpedo tube. Players would need to decide which to bring.
I agree. You can already safely land a plane, and get a little reward for it, I think successfully landing should allow those soldiers to retreat.
I’ve seen this pop up a couple of times, and personally I’m not a fan. It encourages players to spend more time falling back than pushing forward, even on offense. Especially in settings like DDay, this concept doesn’t really make sense.
I think only among your own team would suffice or the trolling would get REALLY out of hand. Maybe allow both teams chat at the END of the game.
Again, trolling and also players drawing inappropriate symbology would be an issue. Free drawing is gonna have to be a no. HOWEVER, adding arrows, shields, attack symbols, etc. I can agree with.
Completely disagree with this. There still needs to be talent involved in the game. This would make it FAR too easy and completely remove the skill factor.
I think we should get new men that walk from spawn to rejoin the squad.
For example if I’m defending and only have 1 guy left, I either A. Kill myself to try and get more men but risk loosing the objective, or B. I stay and fight but only have 1 dude so I don’t stand a chance.
If I had men arrive from spawn to rejoin me then it’d be helpful. Walking back to spawn wouldn’t be necessary.
- Soon
3: Absolutely not for the permanent spawns, and what would be the point of higher walls? All I have to do is throw the grenade a little higher to get over your higher wall.
4: That works…
6: Only if the overall ticket count of your team goes down. (I.E. If you have 776 tickets left, and you reinforce with 6 people. It should go down to 770)
7: I don’t think it should be seen by both teams. Warthunder is a perfect example of why that’s a bad idea right now. Because of the unspecified war between two unspecified slavic countries, a lot of people use the global chats as a way to vent their political chips on their shoulders or insult others using this as a cudgel.
8: Why?
9: Why?
10: Why? Just git gud at throwing grenades and you won’t need this.
11: Although this isn’t going to happen. I absolutely would love to see this. Transparency is a big thing for me, and I’d like to see more of this.
- higher walls are used to block doors and roads. these are just examples.
8.is to remind what kind of player this guy is. This is really useful new because they dont show ranks anymore.
9.This is for players with more experience to show general plans to new players. For example they can make mark on possible evemy spawn location and attack routes with good spawn building spot. - Since tanks can tell if their round are going to penetrate or not throwables should tell players the general flying path so they can aim better. I know people say this is a skill but i think less diffculties will help with new players to stay.
Mmk…You have a point here…
What’s it matter what kind of player it is? You can’t do anything about it except kill him and then come here and yell about the matchmaker?
I have to disagree. I think if you’re having problems with where your grenades and explosive packs are going, you should practice in tutorials or just play the game more. Eventually, it’l become muscle memory. We can’t hand new people absolutely everything, there has to be some kind of player skill gap.
Also, I don’t drive tanks. I never knew they had things to tell them that kind of information. Shouldn’t be there, honestly.
We already have the czechs for both cases and you can use sandbags for indoor as well. Those walls would be big and either easy to destroy conpared to czechs or so hard to destroy that people will troll hard with it.
I think we just need more types of sandbags and maybe possibilites to barricade windows with bricks or wood.
There are already pings available. Maybe increae their maximium count though I believe the count exists to make mortars less “OP”.
Yeah and should be removed since people use it to scan through smoke and vegetation but at the same time tank vs tank gameplay is still very buggy, especially penetration-wise.
Should be a practise map thing.
I still think private channels and being able to invite enemies from the scorebard (is this already possible though) would be better.
“Hey bro, I just unlocked a new fighter, call in an air strike plz, I want to grind it out.”
just removes the social aspect doesnt it, makes the community experience feel hollow. the snowflake option to turn off chat exists so why not let the rest of us talk
afaik, no. maybe on consoles. but you’d have to wait until mainmenu to invite someone in your game, and i don’t accept random invites from shitters
Well. Just reject them?
i do… but maybe i wouldn’t if that person had already spoken to me. i don’t know why you (and others to be fair) are against such a ubiquitous feature
That is what your teammates are SUPPOSED to be for.
