Some feedback on the update (mostly based on my previous suggestion)

If you want some context look at List of Suggestions - Part 1 Customization, a list of suggestions I post 11 days ago. To be fully transparent I didn’t think that these suggestions would have any influence to the update - I’m mentioning all the relevant suggestions. My problem would be the additions to the problems. So let’s start:

1st Suggestion:

-So let’s see what was changed. Oh, Gaijin actually completely reversed the change, but decided randomly to entirely erase the saturated version (available to Tunisia medic squads and the default uniform of the premium 18th Panzergrenadier Division - 51st Grenadier regiment (Gerat 03 squad)) of the camouflaged pants and replace it with the default (old) Heeres-Splittermuster 31. Maybe they could have just made a new asset instead of changing another but that’s probably too complex for them. Now both of the tunics with the same pattern are incomplete and miscellaneous. The execution could have been not bad, but maybe I’m asking too much of them.

2nd Suggestion:

-Nothing changed. It would probably continue this way indefinitely.

3rd Suggestion:

-Wow, they actually fixed that. That’s good.

4th Suggestion:

-On that issue they decided to add more SS patterns (the ones already available to the StG-44 (S) squad with the addition of a new pattern). The funny thing is that the StG-44 (S) squad has the 4th and 5th simultaneous renditions of the Erbsenmuster/Pea dot pattern. All of them are available to all squads now. Why? Why do we need so many variants (5 to be exact), 3 of them being incomplete (not having either the tunic or pants available to TT squads), and clearly having better looking and more modern variants added in the update?

5th Suggestion:

-Nothing changed. It would probably continue this way indefinitely. My last hope would be the USSR VS Japan update. The more annoying thing is that they have created/updated the versions with camouflage covers, which means they worked with the SSh-40 assets but still chose not to make a buckled variant.

6th Suggestion:

-It’s almost offending they haven’t fixed the asset. They probably wouldn’t fix it in the future for being “obsolete” or some other lazy excuse.

7th Suggestion:

-Adding 2 new pants and 1 new tunic is the opposite (all of them being incomplete like most other). Also none of them haven’t been changed if we exclude the grey cap with white fur. This leaves 7 remaining items. I hate how Enlisted is mostly centered around premium and event squads’ appearance. All incomplete sets and some which don’t even have 1 option available to TT squads are all thanks to the focus around the “special/unique” squads. I hate this fact. This update only solidifies their awful and systematic approach:

All other fixes or additions add a handful of largely indistinguishable options (excluding the two actually good new field cap assets).

8th Suggestion:

-Nothing changed. It would probably continue this way indefinitely.

All other suggestions I posted weren’t done or applicable. The customization might actually improve if they scrap Active Matter, but currently it’s most likely that we would have to wait until 2030 to get some sizeable quality.

My feedback on the update is that adding a useless japanese shotgun, a slightly improved M1928A1 Thompson 50, an unplayable BR IV heavy fighter aircraft and two mid tanks isn’t exactly a thing to cheer up Gaijin for. Throw in a questionable map revamp, a few visual effects/decals and you have a “major update”. There is nothing major in the update.
Most of the changes are revolving around premium content (what a great surprise) - giving automatic grenade launcher only to the one premium mortar squad and giving a second premium paratrooper squad to Japan (when USSR and USA/Commonwealth still don’t have a premium low-BR para squad), which feels like an insult to injury - adding more premium content to the most lacking in TT faction.
Also the only way they managed to “improve” the launch of the update was purposefully leaking content and a “Coming soon!” event. I don’t want ever again to see an event getting announced a week (or more) before it actually arrives, because I get the feeling that it would be very comfortable for them to generate fake hype (for example by giving every player a BR III paratrooper squad). If the only thing that makes the developers create something worthwhile is a good quantity of criticism, then we should always pressure them.
Another major thing to note would be Gaijin’s purposeful decision to annihilate every chance for you getting any event content, by adding all BP soldiers, weapons and vehicles. The funny thing is that they increased the chance of you getting a vehicle by 1% because they didn’t want to create a category for BP vehicles. No sane person would wish this addition. It’s only to fuel the gambling addictions of all who purchase the veteran boxes - they added even an animation to show how close you were to a good weapon/squad, but you usually miss it narrowly. Only an arabian prince or an expert at grinding could get all event squads, by wasting millions of silver.
Thank you all for listening to my rants/feedback!
