Some cosmetics gives us a stupid amount of pouches and backpack

So maybe with the cosmetic options it will give us some extra storage or something or extra ammo or extra slots for holding random things And since we’re carrying So much random stuff It should give us some sort of movement penalty.

Anyone’s free to expand upon it or improve my idea And ignore the rambling of a mad questionable parrot

I disagree. The backpacks are what dictates how many extra grenades, medkit, tookits, or ammo you hold. It should not change away from those, especially not to cosmetics. Otherwise, certain cosmetics will become meta as well.

The Soviet in Berlin have that metal plate they wear and Negate some pistol damage and with vitality and a perk that makes So you don’t go down so easily That means getting some pistol kills will be a nightmare Unless you’re good at headshots and close quarters

I thought it negates 10% damage overall. And you can buy those plates in Moscow and Stalingrad as well. I did equip my akt-40 squad with those.
And MG federov has it from get go.

Well that’s just great you’re gonna ruin someone’s day if they wanna get pistol kills unless they’re great at getting headshots.

And thinking about it if someone were to make a zombie game mode and you have Soviet zombie charging at you in some form of body armor You might get swarmed and die because you can’t kill them fast enough

Yeah, ruining day for other people is my favorite thing to do. jk

Btw. I think this idea would be great. But only in case some customizations would be grindable, not only locked behind orders or gold.

At least they’ll give a reason for the cosmetics and people to specialize more in their class And if we expand a little more into it if we have some sort of camouflaging Grass that you can wear it’ll make you 5% less detectable by the AI when you’re hiding in the Bush

well that starts straying into the realm of P2W even further.

The Soviets already there so what’s the difference

The armor plate basically offers so little protection that most rifles and semi automatics and smgs aren’t even effected by it.

IRL it was meant to stop pistols and do just as helmets did. it was effective at that but rifles would rip it a new one.

Yeah, weight on the soldier due to equipment should have an effect on how long he can sprint.
I wonder if acceleration can be a thing.
