Solutions to balance of fire arms

Hello,
it’s me after some time i take break from game, but after update i come back, and i was thinking.
Tunis is clearly best campaing because people still using bolt-actions and whole battle progress is slover and tactical and not just zerg rush with your full auto rifle …
Because of this “let players choose wich weapon you want to use” we suffering from battles like in Normandy where all players use full auto (or semi auto) guns and game is full auto fiesta. Because of this everybody starts bitching about guns and devs will nerf full auto guns (AVS, BAR, FG42, etc.) to the oblivion wich i think is stupid decision …

They should limit squad to use this weapons like this:
1 full-auto weapon
2 semi-auto weapons (USA should have exception because you know M1 was they main rifle)
others can be just bolt actions

This will not limit smgs soo assualters will work normaly but there should be malfuctions of high capacity smgs like MP40/1, PPD, Thomsons with drum and PPSH but not like crazy malfuctions but it should happend time to time …

Look at this video for example:

They nerfed FG42 (AVS, BAR) to the oblivion but in reality this gun is accurate and light and of course nobody will go to the war with one spare magazine … This aplies also to the AVT 40 and AVS … why just one mag ? Becase devs let me put this rifle on evry single soldier … wich is totaly unrealistic to ww2 … They should limit this rifles and buff it back to normal

Maybe this will angry somebody that grind all the way to the FG42 and wanted to put it on every single soldier but trust me, this will be much much better game with slover weapons and more tactical aproach to gameplay. Old Moscov in CBT was best experience because of that everybody used bolt-action.

Sadly this always happens with games afew children on the forums bitch about a weapon being “overpowered” then the devs just break it not really knowing how to reduce the effectiveness of it due to not really playing the game.

So were there not malfunctions in the game before ?

Yes perhaps they should limit the amount of rifles like the FG42 you can have in a squad.

Yes there were malfunctions back then, but i noticed it only on Kar98

They had more malfunctions ready in their second “test game” (at that time), Cuisine Royale. I remember having STG44 jammed there.

But sadly they scrapped the whole idea nad we will probably never się them again. Even despite the fact that malfuncions could also work as balancing factor when it comes to introducing prototypes and test weapons like Mkb in Moscow.

What we need is limit of Superior Automatic Rifles, but I don’t think dev do that because they are stubborn and don’t have a clear blueprint.

i like this suggestion, imo weapon limitations should be implemented as new mechanic or as new game mode , it will add way more realism to this game which faces obvious identity crisis, it claims to be historically accurate even when it clearly in may ways is not or is not going to be, that should be changed, this is not call of duty

I spam fg42

I use a healthy mix of both. I don’t get ppl whining about “needed” restrictions. I use 1 or 2 fg top per squad and rest is mixed arms. I just love having the freedom to choose, and I’ve grinded for it. I also still use starter weapons in some cases because I like them.

People are always fast into blaming the tool they wield (or in this case, others) to deny their own shortcomings.

You got it wrong … I don’t blame the weapons or anybody… I want the game to be more authentic … in World War II, bolt action rifles were mainly used

Agreed there.
But it wouldn’t change anything: people already rock 3 assaulters squads and 2 lmg squads. Specific weapons such as the infamous fg (not as horrible as ppl claim) aren’t the issue.

Better suggestion would be to restrict SQUAD type, if any restrictions are needed, wich I doubt :thinking:

It will change something i m 100% sure because your cant have terminator squad with 9 AVS guys with aim stability perk …
