When playing today I wanted to command my soldier to hold their fire, because I was sneaking up on the enemy and I didn’t want my AI to go spraying at them, giving away my position. And I couldn’t find the order to hold fire, neither the Orders to disperse or to gather and I assume they were removed.
I hope they will return at some Point, because they give Players more tactical options when engaging an enemy position.
I think there is an order or a mode you can select so that your AI will be “passive”. They won’t engage unless they themselves are engaged.

In pacific mine AI are stuck on passive, for sure, 2x i been killed while building a rally, and bots didn’t fire a shot, or engaged, and to stood around giggling, while they where beaten to death as well, but in Tunisia and Normandy, bots seem to work, just no orders anymore, ie wide setting etc, which is just a easy kill, as they all bunch up, and not shoot anyone.
been all through options/controls, in case my end, but i find nothing to give any commands except x, look at old stuff, should be alt button?, but that is just whom is in squad, or i need a medic stuff?
Hold the switch squad member button ( default ’ T ’ ) and press ’ E ’ to select squad behavior you want.

On my Pc its, Y to switch players, and E is to lean? but will try this ofc, when i get in a game.

It is ’ Y ’ for the default key; I made a mistake. I forgot I changed it ages ago, duh.
anyway i tried it last game, and yeah not get it to work, Y swaps players, then E just leans to side lol,
so all this rework crap, is a joke considering, the main mechanic is the AI/bots, and all you can tell then to do is X, after 3 years pretty sad.
maybe its Z for you then, depending on what keyboard people have, these are interchangeable

Oh thank you very much for a reply, but Z is crawl, i have default settings, so i not changed a thing.
