Soldier perk upgrade icon gone?

I turned off the “there’s a better weapon available” mark as it applies to everything in BR2, but apparently I’ve also turned off the “Soldier has an upgrade” icon - nothing shows and I have to check each soldier to see if he has any new perk points?

Anyone know how to turn it back on?? and yes I’ve looked in the game options!

ETA it appears for new soldiers, just not ones who upgrade in battel

Just restart the game.

Did that. Makes no difference.

Weird. For me, the green icons reappear after restarting the game.
