Any wounded soldier, whether from a nearby explosion, breaking a sale, a grazing shot, or any other form of injury, will begin to slowly bleed to death, unless he manages to regain 100% health again.
This means that as long as the soldier has less than 100% health, he will slowly bleed to 0%, so there will be an incentive to go to a nearby first aid kit, or request help from a nearby medic.
It will encourage the use of medic squads, and the medic role, mainly in solo mode games.
It will require that all campaigns have at least one squad of medics or specialized medic units.
Focused mainly on hardcore mode.

Even the on ground system is totally abused you kill a guy he fall on ground and u have to kill him a second time … life pool on ground should be severely reduced or this mechanic should be removed and maybe add your bleeding system which is a copy paste of red orchestra.
Medikit should be used to stop bleeding not for extra life
500kg bomb drops 100m meters from you
0.01 mm shrapnel enters your arm
even broken finger would be more life threatening
but nearest medkit is 1km away
countdown to death begins
(i would rather suicide my whole squad than look for medkit at 3 floor building)
Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm 2 had soldiers carry their own bandages that can also be resupplied on ammo boxes. Those games don’t even have a medic class but hitting on certain organs will make the soldier basically dead or bleed out to death.
If it is clear, that it would be a matter of implementing it in hardcore modes, and then facilitating it in the other modes if it succeeds, still, the amount of decay may not be that great, rather it would be a slow and painful death.
