Face it - SMGs are still after numerous balance changes the core infantry weapon that outperform every other weapon class in 90% of the firefights.
I think, its time to move all SMGs out of BR1 - and thus moving most SMGs up their BRs.
That would give a lot of breathing room for early semi autos, while making BR1 entirely bolt action based.

You say this once per day, so I accept this as a mild criticism. 
I thought about that aswell - maybe some very poor semi autos like M1 Carbine could take their place as BR1 assaulter weapons.
To be fair tho - nowadays you move out of BR1 quite fast anyways, I dont think that BR1 is a safe haven for new players to begin with.

As long as BR1 doesn’t have seperate queue, you would just increase the gap between BR1 and BR2.
If anything, things like APCs and MGs should be lowered to BR1 to decrease this gap.
Not having APC at BR1 is ultra annoying.

Well, I don’t play BR1 very often, and seeing that I absolutely hate bolt action rifles would ensure that I never played BR1 again. 
If the matchmaking were 0/0 and this would only apply to BR1 only, I would be fine with it, however you would have to make it also apply to BR2 as well since they have smg’s and mg’s which that would make BR2 useless as far as playing against any level other then BR1, and I doubt many people would want to face BR3 with all bolt action rifles. 
DF will say that “We don’t have enough players” to isolate BR1 to a solo level, so until they decide they can go to a 0/0 match, I am sure an all bolt action rifle level would be DOA with DF.
Plus another thing to consider is that DF sold level 1 smg premium squads, and I bought I think 5 maybe, so what would become of those squads people paid for? They really are not good enough to use in level 3 or above since every smg that level on is better. Below is literally my level one allied, which if DF made that a rifle only level, I have a lot of wasted money in premium squads. 
I also have one level one smg squad for the Russians and maybe one for the Japanese.
It could work if we moved every assaulter weapon up with a BR, except BR5 because those obviously can’t be moved.
It would make BAs more dominant in BR1, but would make many weapons assaulter weapons unviable. I personally don’t believe that it would be worth it especially since BR1 would be completely underpowered in CQC making it easy for BR2 to bully them.
Naaahh, personal i am about Tier 1 Assaulter squads back.

also, since BR I fight also agaist BR II, it would be stupid. because they would face LMG, AND SMG, whitout SMG guns.
Stupid idea smgs at br1 are extremely underpowered and can’t compete against bolties anyway. At BR2 their BR1 power would be even more useless vs BR2 smgs and lmgs

You start the game and all you have is just BA sticks.
You loose interest and you never play it again. End of the story.
I personnally tried to introduce this game to many of my friends and most of them saying
“I don’t like shooting BA”
Most of FPS games are automatic gun based so they are used to things like mg, smg etc but not BA
So no smg in br1 means ultimely no new player and you know what happen to games wirh no new player - die

Not if all current BR1 SMGs move to BR2 - while most current BR2 SMGs move to BR 3.
Read what I said - mid BR SMGs would then move out of BR2 aswell.

MG is more important than SMG in a poor army
so BR1 have old BR2 MG with Stalingrad debuff, and BR2 got old BR1 SMG
