So, Normandy is ez mode for the axis?

Tough luck I guess.

Got that one twice in a row, only the suffering was only roughly 9 mins.; there were constantly two jumbos + air support that utterly dominated the game.

Over there! That’s the Yanks are coming!

Well, they weren’t that eager to sing when my MG34 spoke.

Yeah, you got outplayed, and on Airfield where the Allies can pop balloons to gain tickets.

Screenshot the results from an average invasion game on the beaches, bet it’s a different story. One map where the allies have an advantage does not erase the rest of the imbalances.

Yeah. Ver sur Mer invasion is still unbalanced as hell for the Allies imo. Easily the worst map for the atack in the Normandy.

Also it’s actually a trolpost. You aren’t allowed to use arguments here!

In fact, only the first point. The last point on the fountain of the mansion is terrible to defend, it is inconvenient to run to it through the house, there are many places on the point where attackers can hide. The point is open and tanks and attack aviation can easily clear it.
When the last point was on the fountain I always lost, the team just did not know what to do. However, yes, the first point is heavily in favor of the defense.

Tbh, I have never played the last point there. Most enemy teams barely capture the first point and get wiped out on the 2nd one. If they are really good they might get to the 3rd point but it’s very rare for me.

Even beaches can be tough once the first objective falls then it is usually wild ride. Especially when US have clever engineer how builds spawn points at flanks. I remember a game when I rushed back and our objectives fell one by one faster than I could run back.

Already from the second point the attack is strong. The second point on the hill is inconvenient to defend, the attack in the lowlands and can get close to the point, while the attack tanks bombard the defenders that come to the edge of the hill. There are ways around
The third point in the city, it is difficult to defend.
The fourth point is better, but near the point there is a house or forest, where the attack can make the respawn.
The fifth point in the mansion is not bad for defense, but on the fountain is terrible.
Overall, changing the first and some other points could make the map better.

third point can also be the radar station

That’s right, I forgot. However, there is a bunker with machine guns to the side of the defense and a hill from which the attack can safely enough advance.

it can also be open to airstrikes from both sides so it can be hell if one side is spamming CAS

Yes, that is generally true.

for points in buildings/have buildings in the circle, it’s more of an annoyance but for open points a good CAS player can instantly clear the point to either stop the cap or to open it up

the beach bunker points are dang hard to take. the only ways in are the ladder holes and mebbe the holes that are blown into it before the match starts, depending on the bunker. on the other hand it could be junk teams afraid to swarm the bunker. other than that id say the worst part of normandy is the mg snipers. im pretty sure they’re bots in rambo mode

I know it’s a joke post, but the last week or so, I’ve felt momentum swinging back towards the Allies.
IMO, it’s not weapons that make a big difference, wherever the experienced and skilled playerbase moves to will have an advantage. Or maybe the Allied players have figured out that placing a dot in the middle of their screen really helps.

Same experience, still some decent German players (more than before last campaign update) but more decent allied players as well now the German side is done grinding. Feels way more balanced and the win rating for me is almost back to what it used to be. Have to work for it a bit more in games to get as good a score as before but that is more than fair. German better equipment seems to balance out decent enough with them being defenders.

Germans attacking however is hard to stop.
