I reckon it’s got something to do with it being the holidays and people got some time off so lots of Marshalls are running about…
But holy moly mother of god the unholy amount of suicide bombing the past couple days has been driving me insane. A good chunk, I won’t say every match but majority of them there’s at least 2 sweaty Marshall kids that just have been suicide bombing back to back.
There was 1 guy this morning who had 2 or 3 different aircraft units and just kept dropping them on my tanks and the capture zone. Made it like damn near impossible to get anywhere close to the point.
I’ve always been hesitant about the idea of punishing suicide bombing because how can you determine what is intentional and what is a crashing accident? However the past couple days have been driving me insane and I’m left wondering if anyone has ideas on what the devs could do to tone this down because honestly I got nothing that doesn’t risk punishing innocent players who just accidentally crash from time to time.
In one match, a guy crashed 4 times into my tank only to blast me with bombs. If the plane was not shot down but crashed undamaged into the ground (suicide), the fuse of the bombs released moments before should be deactivated.
I’m an advocate for adding a battlefield like timed respawned for vehicles ie a tank gets blown up it takes two minutes for another tank unit to be available for any players,
I was little bit dizzy. Of course that repeating bombing of skilled player is way more disgusting than random suicide bombings. Suicide bombings are lame, not a thing to be concerned about.
I wouldn’t call suicide bombing a ‘Play Style’ it’s just a cheap way to deal with problems on the ground.
Also how can you say that getting killed by suicide bombing is a ‘skill issue’ the whole purpose of suicide bombing is that it requires no skill to kill players, tanks, or clear objectives
Man am I the only one that lived during the time that bombs wouldn’t get you any XP once you crushed right afterwards?
It was a thing (if it wasn’t a bug).
Yet i feel bad about newcomers as they would leave the game immediately.
The problem is that suicide bombing is similar to a newcomer trying to bomb something. They don’t know ankles and die.
Why should they suffer?! They don’t know better.
Enlisted can’t be coded to punish suicide bombers and I made a lot of complains about that.
The only thing that would work is a timer:
2-3 times: warning
4-6 times: penalty
7-8 times: kick without any XP gained
I write that just out of the blue.
I am absolutely against the idea of adding some “points” to get access to the airplanes.
For what end?!
Skilled players would get the airplanes faster and (yes for that purpose) suicide bomb a tank.
Why?
Because it is “points per minute”.
Other side:
Newcomer or new player will get access:
“Oh yes i will try to keep myself up in the sky…”
“FCK off you noob, make space for the veterans as we have grey zone camping tanks!”

What this game needs is not any kind of restrictions but a kind of penalty system as mentioned above. O k know this won’t prevent some of you to get suicide bombed but at least it won’t be 3-7 times by the same guy without penalty.
Yeah that’s the part that’s always stumped me. Suicide bombing can be such a cheap and scummy tool but I really don’t want it to negatively affect new players who are learning the game and will obviously make some mistakes from time to time
