The title said it, I apparently conduct​ed an experiment in practice range and I think it would be fun to having AIs do driveby with Grenade Launcher. So I did and here the result!!!

They are very overpowered!!
They did not ran out of grenades and combined with me driving while having AI shooting, this could entirely cause psychological blow to enemy team!! :exploding_head: (I think???)​

technically AI should work like this (like halo marines) but that it works worse than pac-man ghosts is another matter

Wait, how you managed to force AI to use rifle grenades? And how you made them fire?

It kinda complicated but I’ll try my best​ explaining here. (my englesh sucks)​

Preparation​

  1. Equipped​ one of your soldier(s)​with Grenade Launcher
  2. Enter the vehicle and they should be on the passenger seat
  3. Load up the grenade launch​er
  4. Now change soldier by pressing 1 to switch to the driver

Now the real part​

  1. Quickly press 2, 3 or any passengers you want to force them to use grenade launcher.
  2. Fire weapon​ (but keep holding left mouse until you switch then you can release it)​, reload and quickly switch to the driver. Like step 1, this step should be done very quickly or it won’t work.
  3. And you have it, now do this with other riders and you have your 3 soldiers keep​ firing grenade launchers simultaneously.

Have you tried to replicate it with other weapons? MG34 or MG42 for example?

Have you tryed it in game?
It look like they are just auto shooting in the same spot.

Does your squad aim at the ennemy?

They only shot at the fixed spot apparently, they don’t appear to be aiming at the enemy.

Even if you can only shoot at one position like some kind of boat it can still be amazing in some campaign. I will try on Tunisia as soon as I unlock grenade launcher there.

Now I just need a pirate name.

It work, just perfect.

Bad thing it always fire at the same direction (front of the car when you start the exploit).
Good thing you don’t have to be inside the car and you can angle the shots if you have angle the car.

So It’s perfect behind a dune to shoot at an attack zone. It’s some kind of mobil artillery
