Can’t agree more,many automatic weapons’ deviation is sick and unrealistic in this game
sometimes i am wondering if some mechanic changes are incompetency or deliberate nerfs.
that update where they fixed planes, dog fighting was so enjoyable and couple of days later it was reverted back to prefix state.
either deliberately incompetent, or deliberately trolling at this point.
I believe its the second one mixed with some devs actually thinking “this is a good mechanic”, just like they did with the semi auto nerfs back in the day.

For the most part it only happens on stock weapons. As soon as they are upgraded I don’t seem to have much issue. I personally thought that was an interesting balancing part to usage of full autos. After all, I see basically none of these issues on bolt-action or semi-auto rifles.
Even switching an automatic weapon to semi-auto fire appears to help. For me, a Tommy gun or BAR are best when they are on semi.
I don’t know if its related, but has anyone noticed with certain Semi Auto rifles, the first bullet fired at a target just…disappears??. At first I thought it was latency, but it tends to only be bad on certain weapons consistently.
I bet its the movement deviation having bit of a timed delay before it normalises itself. Same “probably” goes for quick turning.
Its just that the game deliberately slows down good players with all this nonsense.

I’ve noticed guns loosen and tighten their cone over the life of the game
I think the BAR has gotten noticeably less accurate in ADS too considering I see my rounds go outside the irons with the Monitor lately

It might be due to how netcode seems to work, plus latency and/or some packet loss
That was my original thinking, except certain weapons are bad while others are fine.

Johnson is bad (pacific, which is funny cos its sights are so clear, you are confused everytime nothing happens) , some of the gewers, some of the russians Cant remember all.
But the general rule is double tap, cos first ones a blank LOL
the devs dont have the balls to put these in the patch log and think they smart in hiding them behind fake ui(not the only “i smarmt” thing they do, just look at hidden but still forced to unlock levels in stalingrad).
seeing the enemy up close tanking 4 shots of my m1 carbine is unsatisfying too 
Well M1 Carbine needed a buff the moment it was added to the game.
Ever shot the Gewehr 43 chambered in 8mm kurz? Its super accurate when used in semi auto and you can do very fast follow up shots, semi autos that dont kill in one shot should more or less perform like that.
But I don’t see the devs changing this, instead what is more likely is the devs nerfing everything that performs well instead.
they need the arcade classification of weapons by making all the same
