It’s a very accurate generalization for lone fighters mode, a generous one even. Battles start with 5 players on each side just like in squads, despite each side being capped at 20 players and not 10.
Sometimes more players join within the next minute or so, but not always. On the other hand at least one player always leaves the match, usually more. I don’t care enough to gather proper statistics, but just by looking at it with a naked eye way too many soldiers exhibit bot behavior. More than a half, probably more than 2/3.
Maybe squads mode is drastically different, however: 1) it’s much more difficult to determine that (if at all possible) because it’s filled with bots by design, 2) I’ve heard several content creators say it’s almost as bad there (a pathetic source, but at least it’s something), 3) I have no insterest in going back there to see for myself. I gave this bizarre bot squad experiment 3 chances already and it failed to impress me. Won’t even think about trying it again without some major improvements.
Well i was talking about the squad mode which is the main mode, but fair.
not really hard
They are either straight up lying or cannot tell the bots from real players. An exception is Germnay in Berlin where indeed in a lot of matches half team+ are bots
Got the rhino but didn’t care enough about the ruski squad to get it, game just got stale whilst doing my tasks anyway. Glad this game is growing though
This information is outdated. The statistics were gathered when only one campaign existed and weapon selection was very limited (SVT / G41 and PPD / MP35 were the only weapons in their classes). Also PPD was virtually unusable outside of melee range. Developers making it actually usable is what lead to all the complaints about Russian bias that persist to this day.
