This german/swiss AT rifle wasn’t made in germany but this the was used during the war with Hungary and Bulgaria but Germans used it still it’s a semi automatic 10 round detachable mag 20x100mm Anti tank rifle that can use scopes this will be a primary weapon for snipers and it will not be a secondary primary type gun the weapon can be a Br 2 gun

The sniper PTRS was a experimental model of the PTRS tested by Russia it shoots 14.5 mm rounds in a 5 round clips configuration

I don’t really like having scopes on AT rifles, as it would encourage some folks to use these guns on ‘soft’ targets.

They already do, the only thing restricting it is the massive recoil and lengthy reload.

so its an AT squad and not a sniper squad

To be fair the soviets used their AT rifles against concrete emplacements. However I am not sure that labeling this as a “Sniper” event is very accurate.

I want to be their primary not that whole they have the gun and a another weapon just the AT weapon alone

I don’t understand that. These are anti-tank weapons, scopes or no, so they should be classified as anti-tank weapons. I don’t think it really matters if its a sniper or AT squad, but I just don’t see the reason to make these snipers when they are AT weapons. Its just confusing.

But I suppose the sniper assault rifles are sniper rifles. I just would prefer that these are treated as AT weapons.
