In update list this wasn’t stated but it seems that some SMG’s received a buff and this is probably the reason why win-rates have been 50/50 for me. Nice work gaijin 
. What i found is that PPD is finally usable at ranges. I also think they buffed the RoF of Mp-40. It seems to have much faster RoF than Mp-41. Do you guys agree with me and did you find non-stated updates too?

The MP-40 is significantly weaker at range now, I’ve noticed. The PPD seems to have less recoil, which is an… odd choice of balancing.
Well PPD was not inaccurate irl, so it is not odd. But and that’s a big BUT, mp-40 was known for low RoF and in-game it fires like crazy, its probably a bug because mp-40 had RoF similar to mp-38

German SMGs always did seem to outperform Russian ones significantly before the update, though I haven’t really touched either since the patch.
Well what basically happened is that Russian SMG’s are now much better at short-med range while the german one is still somewhat better at far range
