Paratroopers are fun so far.
But for example: it would be very useful to mark the supply box drop zone separately on the map. In this way, immediately after landing on the ground, you would already roughly understand in which area the box is likely to be. - Under the current structure, finding the box is like looking for needle in a haystack.
i agree… this should be HA. dropped ammo boxes all had gps locators…

The most simple solution is spawn the box in 10m near the player after the landing, or using para in berlin when the merge come become impossibile in most situation because the box stuck on some roof every time
But doesn’t it drop exactly where you chosse point of jump? At least it looked it this way when i tried them.
Wondering that, too. I tested in practice range and every soldier landed in a circle 5m apart, so did the crate pile.
Maybe it’s different in actual matches? Wind, maybe?
No is the same, (op is exagerating on the distance) but when you have to drop in zone with bulding is the problem, before i was playing in normandy and a fellow para get his ammo crate stuck on a roof in omer
Devs could add flare smoke or something like that to landing zone. It would be immersive and enemies could prepare for instant backdooring by a paratroopers.
And box itself could have its own flare smoke (maybe with slightly different color) . I would like that more than some random icons.
The supply box is indicated on the mini map. Besides: the box lands exactly on the spot which you have chosen. I never had any issues to find my box besides maybe 4 other paratroopers landed on the same spot and I couldn’t fine “my box”.
To be honest, for me personally, the supply box almost always falls somewhere, but not where I expect it.
The point is simply to mark the approximate location before jumping out of the plane. You should still be able to find it even, lets say, within 50 meter radius ect., but being able to mark a separate drop location would be useful for tactical reasons. - For example, certain equipment from these boxes could be taken by other players. So dropping somewhere further from the front line can be useful as well.
