"small amount of marshals"

Ya that looks about normal whenever I suffer with Allies on Normandy.

Seems kind of inevitable since the number of people at top rank isn’t limited, and if you have 50% win rate you keep the rank until reset once you get there (Even if you suddenly stop receiving Battle Hero awards) as wins will cancel defeats.

Assuming 53% win rate and a Battle Hero every third match, you need (at least, according to how I read the rules, only came back to game recently)

10 battles to reach Sergeant
30 more battles to reach Second Lieutenant
116 more battles to reach Marshal.

I haven’t played the game in a good while, but I assume win percentages might be skewed more than a few percentage units in favor of some faction in certain campaigns, which might be reason to see stuff like the OP picture.

Just got a team full of Marshals and it ended with a roflstomp.

Also got this one

That’s an interesting take. I wasn’t sure how this works until I read this.

@ DrAusf

That’s the most I’ve ever seen of Marshalls on either team. The most for me was probably 5-6. On enemy team I once counted about 7. That looks like it was sanctioned “murder” though

For the last month as I was maxing out all other campaigns (I mean squads in all campaigns, both sides) the worst experience was to play Allies in Normandy. With such amount of Marshals on Axis side at once vs almost all new/low level players on Allies it was just horrific to play this side, at this time it’s the worst side in all campaigns to play just because of inexperienced players on Allies side against so many veterans on Axis side.

it’s mainly about timezones, for me, during morning all the way to evening, axis is on power trip, at night allies are just sweats that steamroll everything

Didn’t feel that way, no matter what server, on EU servers there is almost no time in the day to have some decent battles as Allies in Normandy, slightly better situation is on NA servers at evening time (european time), but still I lost more than could win playing Allies.

For other campaigns you can have steamroll on one side all day on EU servers and you can quite much do the same the other way on NA servers (cough… Moscow), but not in Normandy campaign.

must’ve been cursed by the snail then, since winners always switch sides on evenings/night for me

Maybe I wasn’t playing that late in the night

I could not agree more. Same for me. I am in California… do streams in daytime and late at nights, and you can almost see live the Axis to Allied shift in marshals.
