Slovak Armed Forces Progression Tree & Vehicles (BR I - BR V Concept)

I would like to submit the finalized, highly balanced progression concept for a Slovak sub-tree integrated into the German faction. This tree spans from BR I to BR V, features right-hand drive layouts for early vehicles, and places weaponry strictly according to in-game meta and firepower balance.

Infantry & Squad Progression:

Some of those sources bother me, as for some the others it’s a good jumping point to get a idea. As for the zh29 20 round, unless they were planning on adding those size magazines to each faction TT I wouldn’t agree on that. Yes the allies have a Winchester style option and we have the SVT-40 bubnov but those are one off event/battle pass stuff. Those 1-4 rifles won’t compare to the entire enemy team welding the ZH-29 (20). We already have the ZB, and some of those AR-esque style weapons look decent enough to enclude. Do we have anymore information?

Thanks for the feedback! I totally understand your concern about balance. The 20-round ZH-29 could definitely become too spammy if it’s easily accessible to everyone in the regular Tech Tree.

To fix this, what if we move the 20-round ZH-29 completely out of the standard Tech Tree and make it an exclusive weapon for a Premium/Event Engineer Squad instead?

This way, the standard Tech Tree would only feature the 10-round version to keep the game balanced, while the 20-round variant remains rare and locked behind a specific utility squad. What do you think about this compromise?

Thank you for your post.

Would love to see these in game!

Especially the armoured car.

I want more nations in Enlisted (sub factions are fine), Czechoslovak helmets would be fun to see (I say czechoslovak cause as far as Im aware and per your pictures pro Axis Slovaks used same helmet as pre 1938 Czechoslovak army)

You’re absolutely right, the foundation of the Slovak Army’s equipment and doctrine was entirely based on former Czechoslovak military gear.

Would you consider Free Czechs in Western Allied tree?

Poles and Czechs often wore standard British battledress. The Poles at times wore Polish national uniforms (especially officers) while Czechs apparently had CZECHOSLOVAKIA on their shoulder patch.

I would like to see national shoulder patches as options for allied british uniforms (including my country AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, CANADA, SOUTH AFRICA etc.) and CZECHOSLOVAKIA and POLAND.

Maybe even British squads could occasionally get randomly generated Polish and Czech names to recognise the many that served in British armed forces from those nations.

"You raise an interesting point, but realistically, Czechoslovaks fighting for the Western Allies wouldn’t have much unique equipment. They didn’t bring weapons from Czechoslovakia with them; instead, they used standard British gear, and the only domestic connection was the British Bren LMG, which was based on the Czech ZB vz. 26. Also, they served under the British, not the US army.

Personally, I would love to see the First Czechoslovak Republic as its own independent faction, but unfortunately, it ceased to exist before the war started. That is why I focused on the Slovak sub-tree concept — the Slovak State kept using a massive amount of original Czechoslovak gear as its standard equipment, which gives them a very distinct visual and historical identity in the game.

I agree that it feels a bit strange and sad to think about Slovaks and Czechoslovaks potentially fighting each other in-game since they were originally one country, but historically, the Slovak Army had its own unique campaign and arsenal on the Eastern Front, which makes it an ideal candidate for a sub-tree."

I like this proposal; I’d like to see the Slovak army in the game.
