What happened to devs shiny promise of 1 dedicated slot usable only by premium squads.
Was it conveniently “forgotten”?

There is another major update coming in… who knows when (if they tease us now it can be still this year), but perhaps this slot will be added with the update.

It will be this year.
In fact, probably next week, or even the end of this one.
They even said “uh we didn’t have time to implement these vehicles”, which means, it’s soon soon soon.
We have to nudge them sometimes (awfully often) for them to remember some important details.

It seems so, I don’t think that implementing a premium squad slot would be so difficult that it needed months.

Don’t forget technical difficulties with adding a single engineer to old premium squads
