Hey guys hope everyone enjoyed the drops weekend and is looking forward to the 4th of July weekend if you are an American if you are British then damn those rowdy colonies weekend, but I made a video about women in WWII and how I think the developers at dark flow can add women into the game and keep the historical context of the game. Let me know what you guys think, all feedback is welcomed.
Video Link.
To be honest, they already have said, woman’s will come to the game so this is obsolete.
I see them fitting in prem squads sinc eregular soldier rotation would overcomplicate the whole thing and require reskin and renamings when a soldier is put into a female squad
You clearly didn’t watch the video I even said in the video that they are coming and this is how I would add them. They have never said how they would add them.
I haven’t even watched it. I supposed you mean that they should add them.
Either way, let’s see what they are up to.
Hate you can’t edit:
I mean, I thought you mean they should add them. But you mean how the should add them
They are adding them so I gave them a way to add them without it being historically inaccurate.

Gonna be honest, I didn’t really get the point of the video. All of this has been discussed on the forum many times over, mentioning the snipers, the medics, the radio operators, the 588 night bomber regiment, etc. Historical context was never an issue (at least not for the Soviet campaign), the issue was (and is) making sure it’s balanced.
I can’t speak for everyone, but I’m sure many players will aggree: we don’t mind and even welcome adding those units, so long as we don’t get full teams of female-only squads.
He probably hasn’t see them and he’s a CC he’s gotta make something

No Option for me.
Windows 11 or my browser can’t be the issue.
Maybe i got not permission or something like that.
This topic has been brought up before, but as long as things in the thread stay sensible and on-topic (i.e. directly related to the game) I don’t see a problem with it.
Speculation is fine, as is discussing the way in which units or soldiers may have a place in the game. As long as the discussion stays grounded there, it’s okay.
Thank you Mod.

I am a historian by trade who has and always will believe that the best way to teach people is to find something they are already into and show them a historical aspect to it. Also as Anti_Tec_Aktion pointed out I am a CC to some regards so I have to make something and this was a perfect opportunity to do as people are more likely to watch vs read.
I am not sure how a female character would make the game less balanced outside of hit box issues as females tend to be smaller so you could have an instance where in Warzone everyone picks the female character. Historical was always an issue in my opinion as you could see mutliple people on this very forum saying women have no place in WWII games when they clearly as you pointed out served in combat roles. I gave my suggestions based on historical evidence on how I would like to see them added
Gonna bring in the real questions here.
Why do you feel the need to flaunt that you’re a historian constantly, and why do you feel a similar need to post a new thread for every video? If people wanna watch, they’ll find you.
coomers and sickos wants women in game.
^^^ this
Really? I couldn’t tell. Maybe you should mention it more often.
Come on, bro, you praise the historical context, yet are so quick to ignore the logical one: I mentioned that by ‘balanced’ I mean making sure we don’t end up with full teams of female-only squads.
I’ve only seen a few, most are simply pointing out the very thing I said - yes to the idea in general, but introduce them in a way that somehow prevents female-only teams. Make sure they are represented in a realistic percentage.
Some also mention that people will rage if one faction has females, while the other one does not, so that opens that whole can of worms.
Women should be in game in their historical combat role. AKA maybe one sniper squad and/or one PO-2 squad. Also maybe one female Volkssturm squad. They shouldn’t be mixed units and there shouldn’t be other female squads outside of this since no other nations ever used women in an active combat role. Sure they had the units, but they never saw combat and served more for propaganda purposes on the Homefront for other nations (the WASPs in the US for example).
Soviets can get a premium female sniper squad for Moscow, Krauts can get a premium female volksturm squad for Berlin. Boom I solved the issue of too many woman
