Japan often gets inexplicable buffed, even when its weapons are already more powerful than those of the same level in the US. Why are there mysterious weapons that were never mass-produced in history or only existed on blueprints given to Japan? It’s like I’m in a world line where Japan won World War II and even beat Germany in the Cold War, a world line far beyond the “The Man in the High Castle” alternate history.

Because Japan don’t have much mass produced stuff to be added in. And its not like other country don’t have such weapon. For example hyde M1944, t20, rd-44, as-44.

So what kind of weapon would Germany’s battle pass have? Bolt-action rifle? Submachine gun? Machine gun? Grenade launcher? Shotgun? Semi-automatic rifle? (The US faction can be skipped…)
The development team has actually fallen into a strange misconception. I think a major feature of this game is that players lead infantry squads with individual soldier talent trees. However, currently, each soldier basically only has one fixed talent point allocation. If players like unique gold-coin weapons, they will also be interested in squads with unique historical backgrounds. One approach is to deepen the soldier talent trees, giving them unique background talents that don’t affect balance.
In the Soviet-German partisan squads a few updates ago, there was a unique captain character who provided a 20% bonus experience. For example, we could have a “John Basilone” combat squad (the name doesn’t have to be that), with a background saying that the soldiers in John Basilone’s regiment were inspired by his heroic deeds, giving machine gunners a 10% speed advantage when using machine guns as a unique background talent. Or, one characteristic of German WWII soldiers is their fondness for using grenades in tactical operations, but in game, most players choose to carry two submachine guns or ammo pouches, and very few carry grenade pouches. So, could we have a grenade assault squad? For example, a rifle squad equipped with K98 rifles could have a talent that grants increased bayonet charge speed after throwing grenades. Or, a squad equipped with MP40s could gain temporary increased accuracy and movement speed while moving after throwing smoke grenades. Alternatively, the British could have guerrilla squads with a captain similar to John Malcolm, the only character in the squad carrying only a longsword and bow, whose background talent could be faster melee charge speed. Simultaneously, these squads could be given a tied system for gaining extra experience and silver. For example, Desmond Doss’s squad would gain higher rewards for rescuing teammates, and John Malcolm’s squad would gain higher rewards for melee kills.

You should make a suggest thread about that, sounds like a really cool idea and a good way to bring life back into the hero soldiers which otherwise often just clog up peoples accounts.

There is no “two wrongs one right” argument. I’m merely pointing out the truth, Enlisted is not a pure WWII game anymore. It’s very far from what was once promised, actually, and it will keep slipping further, no matter what you or I think about it.
And no, it was not a single mistake, it was a deliberate and calculated choice. Many, many deliberate choices, where jets are just the tip of the iceberg, and I firmly believe their inclusion heralds a BR6 coming at some unspecified point later.

Why do I fear that they’ll ask for more battlescore in events since they’ll now give you more scores for capping and taking out enemies on the objective?

That would make more headway than changing bombs on one aircraft.
These Jets are in Ground attack configuration, they shouldnt be spawned in as fighters

Meteor, F-80 cant be in the sky at the same time as P-47
Jabo cant be in the sky at the same time as Ju 188
Su-9 cant be in the sky at the same time as TU-2

One death machine in the sky at a time and one Anti Death machine, Like how original Enlisted Intended…this is IMO, the smartest move. (Meteor may need to be slightly less nimble too)
With the addition of Late war Prop fighter aircraft, they will be much more equipped for deleting Jets
