Then again there are so many WW2 locations that they still could add to the game, so - in my humble opinion - there is no shortage of possible new maps (and maps expansions) for the forseeable future, might be good if they concentrate on making those…

Moving the goalpost, we’ve gone from discussing production to combat history.
I don’t speak the language (conscious decision), someone with the capabilities and experience would have to go through it I guess, settle the matter. Otherwise, I’ll arrive at the same situations that I have with Italian shovels or a perticular sniper rifle I tried to research some time ago.
Oh…? I thought we had the cast-hull version as premium…? My bad, the welded one can stay premium then, I seem to remember it being less common anyway (also, not as good looking, IMO) Well, I don’t mind getting the cast-hull one in the tech tree then.
Though, still, I really like the RP-3 idea so still hoping for that to be added on to the current Premium (or, as a new Premium with the cast hull Sherman as a base).
Which goalposts?
My preference is not seeing stuff like T-44 in WW2 games because no T-44 was ever seen on any battlefield of WW2.
But if your sources mentioned MAS 44 production before the end of WW2, I would like to see those too.

Actual Sicily with proper factions and time appropriate weapons - yes, absolutely!
But “Sicily” in 1943 with Tiger 2, Meteor, Hyde AR, T20, Volkssturm vs Chinese boys – yeah idk about that.

Are you racist? I hope you realize there were u.s. citizens that were chinese who served in the u.s. service. It wasn’t 100% Caucasians.
He means their uniforms and guns. They are wearing kuomingtang clothes and using prototype chinese rifle never adopted by USA.

Well, the British did have people like Cromwell and Halley’s Comet. Also, the British Sherman tanks generally didn’t have machine guns. So perhaps the firepower was a bit weaker for the infantry.

The addition of Chinese soldiers at this point (i.e. without an appropriate theatre of war for them even present) was just to be able to “milk” the Chinese market, plain and simple (since the Chinese players of course rather get their hands on their own national units than use others).
That said, I also rather see correct units fight one another in the appropriate theatre of war, using the actual gear/vehicles/planes they had at the time, than seeing abominations like the Meteor (IMHO the most useless addition to the game) or Chinese soldiers in Normandy.
Mind you I do not mind Chinese soldiers, but let them fight in the appropriate theatres of war against nations they actually fought against (also using gear/weapons/vehicles they actually used).

btw, premium G41 is my fav squad, they got cool ass outfits, and I can make some cool loadout combos with them, ALL PREMIUMS (with TT guns) SHOULD BE FLEXIBLE LIKE THIS GAIJIN.

Why is one medic missing?
According to Jean Huon (much better than Ian), it was ordered in 1945, had multiple modification through out 1945 and only really started in 1946.
That’s the pre-prod order from the ministry.
If you want a more time accurate rifle the MAS40, MAS 28 and 28-31 (my favourite) and many others can actually fit.
I would recommend this book by Jean Huon. Very complete from pre-WW1 up to the last 49-56 variant (well almost, there is one that is not covered as it was made after the publication of this book).
