Seeming to run into the issue a lot where a teammate is up against a window and I’m sitting there trying to put down a MG or HMG nest there. They are more than welcome to use it, but they need to move for it to be built. There is no way for me to indicate that is what I am trying to do!
I asked yesterday and the dude moved and took the MG I placed (which I was glad for, since I didn’t want to use it myself as I wanted to ensure that there was AA)
Dude didn’t respond, so I guess he was on consol. But at least he could read English and was considerate enough to move.
We won and that MG made it until just a few minutes before the match ended with a roflstomp victory
i fire a few rounds, that seems to get reaction, sometimes
if not i move to next thing, i was going to do, then when he dead i put it down
i build those MG, only ever seen 1 person use, besides myself, as it still empty, when my build materials run out, i will man it.
I take them when offered, might’ve been me that took it because I only remember being offered once.
I would like to learn best spots for them, as in pacific, i am still learning the maps, so may not always get placed in best position etc
The issue is that sometimes that (H)MG nest can be a make or break situation.
That’s the thing though. There needs to be a simple way to indicate that is what you are trying to do, as Console doesn’t have the text options that PC has.
Even on PC it’s a matter of having to essentially put yourself out of play to relay info, which can be a problem when you’re getting shot at. Good thing there’s not a war on or anything!
