Tbh a lot of older unlocks are kinda outdated compared to the direction some campaigns are headed (Normandy becoming ever so more heavy armor) , also let’s not forget that some levels are blatantly just to fill the campaign (kar98 with AT grenades, BF 110 F-2 etc )
What’s your opinion about this and will the devs ever do something about this ?
My opinion is : yes some levels should be reworked and no the devs will never do that
devs in the recent live over YouTube in fabruary stated the following:
they should just do that above somewhat… asap.
makes literally no sense to get the iconic lmg later than all the filler gap. and the same could be said for others campaign as well.
i think they are mistaken necessity for Desire.
what does make them think that people will actually go through to all levels just for stuff that should be somewhat available immediately?
even devs stated that the campaign equipment system was based on firstly the vehicles that were there available for the troops, AND THEN stuff that wasn’t there, but available or made during the same year.
( so… you get the jumbo first, and a normal sherman 76 later… )

but it is wrong to say that they will never do that.
they will, but it will take maybe years…
I hope they do a nation progression so we can grind our faction on time, and se added mechanized, paratroopers, marine, withaut wait lv 78
