Yes. You get cqc in small enclosed spaces and a lot of mid-long range. Basically, it makes all weapon types decently useful, which I like. Which is basically this:
stalingrad maps are the perfect harmony of close quarters and long range
Just with concrete instead of villages and trees. (If you described it correctly that is)

It’ll be effective everywhere.
CQC will be dominated by them, and that is needed to cap/hold points.
And PPSH is very effective at nearly all ranges, Mkb even more so.
Also, to add to the other discussions here, no matter how you look at it, the camapign is pay to win. The better stuff is simply always locked. And I understand that’s the point, that it was meant to be a paid expansion with a free trial, and I’m ok with that. I simply can’t see it succeeding long-term when paying players get everything in a few hours and that everything includes 95% copy paste.
