It’d be nice to squad up with more than 3 of my friends.
Sure it’s possible for my friends not in my squad to get into the same game, just search for a game at the same time. This shouldn’t be the only way to play with more than 3 friends.
Yeah there are custom games, but why limit our squad to us and our 3 friends…

Having fought an uncoordinated basically solo attack against 6 coordinated players on defense (two three man teams in the same discord) I can say that there’s good reason they don’t make it easier in the random queue. If we had more friends in a game, communicating and coordinating strategy, we’d win every time we played a game against a team of solos. The only way to limit how often this happens is to limit player squad sizes.
Most games limit it to 4 people to prevent stacking and utter domination since I’ve been in a Vc where we got 8 guys in the same game and wiped the enemy team
Think about this a team of 8 that are in coms and call precision artillery and air strike on your ass when you do 5 step out of the spawn.
And the other 2 are in tanks blasting whoever is in the direction of the spawn, and have full situational awareness bc of the other 4 players on coms so no flanking this time.
I have done that before and it’s possible by queue syncing
