Shooting Rockets while flying

Hey there…New to flying…tried the tutorial but no luck…I cannot figure out how to aim rockets…I try and use the aiming site but they always come up short of the target…it is tough enough to control the plane but not being able tio aim the rockets sucks

Aim slightly higher with rockets because gravity

Or shoot later, being closer to the target means less bullet drop.
