I think meteor should get better bombs and 69% of people disagred with me, other agreed, i think problem is that most people are german mains and think meteor is op whilist it cant kill any br4/5 tanks. American mains, do you think meteor needs better bombs or am i delusional?

Alright, take this from me then, I’m a Commonwealth main:
The Meteor is fkn good. Easily the best flight characteristics of any jet in game. The reduced bombload was fair - though not what most people wanted when they said “please nerf the Meteor”…
It can have a bigger bombload, when its other flight characteristics have been adjusted.
Or, keep using the P-47 for the CAS role, and use the Meteor as a aircraft-hunter instead… it at least has bombs, and they’re not insignificant, that’s more than some other fighters can say.

I should make a suggestion for adding a Wolseley pattern helmet to regular cosmetics in Burma and North Africa…
Currently every Axis nation has theirs… only US and Commonwealth missing theirs… and I would be very saddened if these ones were just on a single event/premium squad…

Wasn’t there a better 500 lbs bomb available for the British. I believe that could be a fair compromise because the current ones in game kinda suck. I think it was the MC 500 bomb that had better filler. If it was able to be mounted on the meteor that is.
They are very much so. Incapable of destroying tiger 2s even with direct hit,
American mains also thought that the 2x1000lb bomb were just fine and somehow balanced so i doubt that they are any use in judging the appropiate power level of the payload. As for the british 500lb bomb they are kinda crap but that where the only ones already ingame they could realisticly gotten thanks to all the british purists demanding 100% british equipment autonomy from US and as such no american bombs for british planes.
Even in WT the MC 500 in very rare so I doubt its worth for the devs to develope an entirely new bomb only used by 1 plane.
The meteor needed special bomb mounts which aren present on the normal british bomb and as such would be most likely unable to carry such bombs irl (same applies for the 500lb bombs ingame so it also is kinda a moot point).

If a plane loadout isnt already in WT the enlisted devs would need to put in a special request for the WT devs to create such a loadout (that cant even be used for WT itself and thus is entirely wasted time for them).
So unless the payload is ruining the balancing in a major way (which it doesnt since the F-80 exists) I doubt that gaijin will step in step in and force the WT devs to do such favor for the enlisted devs since WT is their cashcow and enlisted just is not.

Also, with American vs British bombs possibly having different suspension lug spacings, different bomb rack attachment systems, and different electrical connections for arming and release - I doubt many of them were compatible.
Either way, no, British bombs for British aircraft. Where else would I bloody use them!?
That’s an issue of bombs phasing through tanks, not a balancing issue
