Shared Vehicles and Fair Scoring

Hi everyone,
I’d like to suggest a feature that I think would make Enlisted even more fun and realistic.

Sometimes when I play with a friend, we share a tank: I drive, and he takes the gunner seat. It’s a really fun and tactical way to play, but right now all the points (kills, assists, etc.) go only to the vehicle owner. I don’t think that’s fair, since both players are contributing. It would be better if the score was split between the crew (for example 50/50) or if both received the full amount.
Another idea: it would be amazing if we could invite a friend directly into our vehicle from the squad selection menu, so they spawn right away as gunner or machine gunner. The same system could also work for planes (pilot + gunner), which would make gameplay even more cooperative and immersive.

What do you think?
Thank you for your attention!

I mean, I get why your doing it, and have fun I suppose.

But you do know that doing that actively detracts from the rest of your team since you are in effectively a man down, 100% go play custom battles for it though.

As for the feature, in some very niche normal gameplay it might see use, however I think it should be near if not the bottom of the pile of the things the devs had ought to add.

You can be doing the exact same by sniping/mortaring at the edge of the map, and that’s not limited to just 2 (4 if you get 2 players in each slot) players. Loads of features are already counterintuitive and not “the meta super best way to achieve a victory”. The fact that you can already hop into your friend’s tank proves this point. Sometimes people want to have fun and not just play CSGO with old skins when they boot up a WW2 simulator. This is one of the few suggestions that are

  1. reasonably easy to implement (I mean how hard is it to let one player get his own xp)
  2. not game-breaking
  3. will bring quite some fun and immersion.

I’m all for it.

Nothing wrong with it, just dont handicap your team in the mode people need to play to unlock things.

I usually don’t use a shared vehicle all the time, mostly in more relaxed matches. In the games where you really need to focus to win, we avoid it. Also, having one player more or less in a vehicle doesn’t make much difference overall, since it’s the team that wins, not just one person.

I just thought this feature could make cooperative play even more fun in the right situations.

Not in my experience sadly, the top 1-3 players tend to carry the team, due to the fact on average, 80% of the enlisted playerbase are mentally and physically handicapped.

According to the current game mechanism.
Your idea is merely demanding: taking on less responsibility and obligation, a simpler and quicker farming industry that requires no thinking. And force other players to provide you with more free services.
Even you are forcing other players to share their gains and victories with you.
You and your friends will be happy, but the other eight people in the same camp as you won’t feel happy.

As for the team? I only use infantry, but I don’t think there are any human performances from the third to the 12th place. Their construction scores are just worthless ammunition boxes, sandbags and at.
They kept seizing and occupying tanks and aircraft, constantly using snipers, but they never made any achievements by taking advantage of them.
Even if they employ engineers, they are merely building ammunition boxes for themselves.
Even I was using br1, while my teammates were using br2

i did everything, but 9 of the teammates didn’t.
The combined value of the nine of them is approximately only 1.5 times that of mine.
This means that in our team, there are only 2.5 of us fighting. Rather than ten players.

As I said, not everyone plays enlisted for the fastest way to gain RP. Arguably, you and these people that seem to only want to unlock things should be the ones in custom matches letting each other farm themselves for RP etc if that’s what you want. Don’t tell other people that their way of playing a game is “wrong” just because you think it handicaps you from achieving an artificial goal that you believe everyone must aim for.

I understand what you mean, and I agree that teamwork and doing your part is important.
My suggestion wasn’t about getting easy points or taking advantage of others, it’s just something for more relaxed matches or for players who enjoy some cooperative gameplay with friends.

Of course, in more serious games everyone plays their own role, some do it better, some worse, that’s just part of the game. I just thought it could be a fun optional feature for those who like playing together.

maybe PVE better.
For instance, multiple players cooperate to drive a tank and escape from the encirclement of the lost armored forces.
Or multiple players can cooperate to engage in a “Furious” battle, or a cooperative PVE like a “T-34” movie.
Well, I will support it.

I mean youd have a point, if you could earn RP in custom battles, (Which imo you should be able to, as long as the mod doesnt effect the score system, it should be fair game.) alas that isnt the case, so you appear to be just being a little salty over the concept of not actively dragging down your teammates in the mode that score matters.

But if people want to just have fun, go for it, I do it all the time, I can play like a shitter and enjoy myself, I know whenever I get the chance, I go play the funni WW1 mods and just dig trenches all match.

You can already (you just have to have a certain amount of real players) and I know that some people already used this for making their 50000% boosters count. This isn’t available in modded customs for the obvious reason that you can exploit it like crazy.

By supporting giving XP to people that kill enemies? I genuinely do not see why you find this a problem. There are literally thousands of other ways to waste time, and the one time an existing mechanic that literally just needs to be brought up to standard with other aspects (engineer AT guns can be used by someone else and give them XP, arguably even less “helpful” to the team) since this seems less like a feature and really just dev laziness because this is the way it should have been from the start.

Very different goals you are trying to justify (both not really arguments for why this is a bad suggestion, but still).
A victory is won by overall player participation (aka everyone killing enemies to drain tickets, being on the point etc).
Gaining individual score depends soley on your ability to play. If you think that your teammates having some fun is bad because you think it drags you down in your quest to grind all the RTs or whatever superficial goal you have in mind (and think that all players must share for some reason), thats not true. In fact, it’s quite the opposite as you can get more XP from doing all the things that your teammates are not doing.

Anyways, good suggestion, makes total sense. If the devs wanted people to just grind, we would not even have the ability to play as vehicles in the first place (not to mention share vehicles). Still, we can do stuff like snipe and mortar. Just let people get their 30xp for killing an enemy for goodness sakes
